I agree Chad also called him out and there wasn't a peep from Hopkins ..He knows Pascal is to easy to beat with his style thats why he chose to fight jean and not Chad.

No way they are too honest ..Just like the Hopkins Delahoya fight

 

Dawson is very skilled, technically sound, young and fresh. Hopkins doesn't need that at age 45.
Pascal, however, is much more flawed, and has questionable stamina. I think Hopkins will take him to school in this one.. I can also see Pascal impressing hometown judges and winning a close decision, but he will look very foolish at times (Calzaghe). He is going to eat lead rights, get countered, and won't know how to deal with Bernard on the inside.

I agree I expect a clinic by Hopkins that's why he took this fight and not the fight with Chad prior ..

Yeah, that talk about Hopkins not wanting to fight Dawson because there was no clarity is crap. He avoided Dawson. Can't really blame him given his age though. He's only fighting Pascal cause of $$ and the style match up. With Dawson, he was getting little $$ and Dawson was a bad style matchup for him.

Also, Hopkins just seems too nice. I'm sure he'll turn up the heat as the fight nears. But Pascal is the type of guy who can shrug that stuff off and fight his fight.

Well, Dawson NEVER had it. He was just the no 1 contender.

 

Yes! He defended it three times. Dawson was one of them and it was easier then against Diaconnu, a more agressive fighter.

Pascal will go in and out with Hopkins like he did against the others. I can not see how Hopkins can follow at age 45.

 

DLH looks bored, tired, and just really looks like he doesn't want to be there.

 

there were no ring belt at 175 before the fight between Dawson and Pascal. The Ring gave it after the fight to the winner.
