That legit didn't look right the first time I saw it but the guy just kind of ....went down differently I guess than normal.

Well why was he concious when he was going down, yet completely unconscious when he landed? It's supposed to happen the other way round.

Your legs go first, then your brain starts to recover and you try to regain equilibrium, if your legs aren't completely gone, your eyes aren't going to be closed on the floor. He was acting.

I've never seen someone stumble from a punch, then be completely asleep a second or two later, without hitting their head.

That was the kind of knock down you get up from, or at least TRY to, it doesn't put you out cold.

Can't disagree with that though there are delayed reaction knockouts fairly often, it does seem like he legitimately got nailed and was going down but just closed his eyes and called it a night instead of attempting to beat the count and so on ...in the long run it was still probably gonna end in the 1st even if he did.

Yeah that's possible, but I agree I think he quit and I won't be interested in any of his fights after this.

Marquez signs with Top Rank and hello controversy - what else is knew?

The KD was solid, flush shot on the chin, people go down from those, but he did stay down inexpectedly long. Anyways it was just a show fight to legitimize career-FW Marquez' shot at Pac when is reality, like other Manny opponents lately, he was picked at the right time with a good name/downhill ratio.

A real, legit knockdown that sees the victim fall to the ground without any control like a heap of ****:

No body here knows if it was real or not, no matter how big of a Marquez fan they are.

    It sure LOOKED ridiculous.

Sean Juan, you know we we arguing the point last night. Please dont give into the nobody knows if it was real BS, simply because of a few knuckled headed, stubborn fools would like you to believe the world is made up of daisies and honest people.

Absolutely, that was a ridiculously looking ko, the fact that the guy laid limp for 2 minutes after attempting to keep balance and breaking his fall.

Common sense goes a long way

It was a legit clean shot and the initial stumble seemed real but I think the fall and him laying there were acted. It looks really suspect, the same way Ali-Liston 2 looks, the way he fell looks like it was done on purpose

I just don't think its so out there as people seem to think it is. I think Ramos got hit with a shot and just decided he wasn't taking a beating. Its not like its never happened in boxing before.

Looks like a con job to me but I'm no doctor. Just stating my opinion.
