There will be a rematch. Fulton will win a belt at 126 and Inoue's gonna want it to become Undisputed in his third weight class.

Inoue and Crawford are rare breeds indeed. And they did all without promotional companies hyping them up...literally better than any PBC fighter in the world...and always have been.

Yes, I know Bud is technically w PBC since he signed to fight Errol in 2 fight deal. For 1 of his 40 fights (and will be 2 of his 41 fights) he will be PBC. Sorry if that upsets the PBC bromosexuals

I do sincerely wish him success at 122 and above, especially since he's being **** on by everyone except in Japan. He's clearly head and shoulders above everyone else besides Inoue at 122.

No rematch for a long time, it wasn't even that competitive I would argue maloney did better. Many fights we can make with fulton at both 122 or 126 if he wants to move up. You had your shot.

Were there many black guys to fight at his previous weights? As far as the rematch goes, while it may be pointless I have no problem with a defeated champion getting a rematch.

I hope Inoue fights him in Philly. It’s cool and all that Fulton wants his revenge but he’s just not at that level. I thought Figueroa beat him. But I do like his willingness to travel, and get back in with the guy who simply dominated him from beginning to end. He’s got heart. But he’s just not good enough to beat Inoue.

Rau'shee Warren and Gary Russell rejected an offer to fight from Inoue.

Inoue proved that he can win an extremely low output fight, against a fairly slick boxer, where both guys are struggling to find their range. He won the distance battle by taking little steps backward and making Fulton continuously fall short with his jab. Inoue wasn’t able to land a whole lot, either, but he was patient and kept finding those little openings. He got his jab to the body working. He occasionally got some jabs upstairs working and used it to set up a few right hooks around the guard. And then as the fight went on, he started busting up Fulton’s face and landing some combinations here and there. He started landing his jab more frequently and using throw away shots to land a shot or two.

But he never really got his offense going and he was still edge out the rounds and hurting Fulton. He was still controlling the distance and out countering him. And eventually, he caught him with that jab to the body and right over the top.

I don’t know what he could possibly expect to do in a rematch. If Inoue actually gets his offensive rhythm going and manages to put some pressure on him, it’s going to be a massacre.

LOL no need for a waste of time rematch unless Fulton holds a belt at 126.
