Joe only fought outside of GB 3 times. His last 2 fights were in USA (cashout fights.) The state of California is almost twice as big as GB.

 

Not to mention that ward is only half way thru his career.

Ward should move @ 175 , travel in Canada and fight Stevenson, Kovalev and Pascal, period. :yep

 

And only 2 of Calzaghe's 46 fights were against anyone who was actually any good and one of those was 43 years old.

There's a reason Calzaghe came and went yet fans in general don't even know he existed. It's enough of a disgrace that people compare Ward to a supposedly established and retired fighter like Calzaghe even though Ward only has 27 fights.

 

Most US fighters don't fight outside US. Not big news.
