At most he won two rounds...maye three. Don't think he would have won ****...But the thread starter is right. Big guys like Funika are easy to hit but if you can't stop them from coming forward and throwing 100 punches around then your introuble. I wouldn't take all the credit away from Funeka though I think he clearly he showed a lot of intelligent tonight. You could see he was waiting on that punch that rocked Guzman. Funeka is another freak of nature 6'1" at 135. He'll have a real hard time getting fights.

Funeka is a good boxer,he just doesnt get the credit he deserves.

This has no bearing on Floyd because Floyd is as fast as hell and can fight in a matchbox,he can clinch,he can headbut.he can use his elbows and has immense defence.He's the most symetrical boxer out there that's why he has such a balance,just to add

 

Always say a taller outboxer > shorter outboxer of the same skill level, thats why SRL had to take the fight to Hearns but he had power, Guzman didnt. Still, I though Guzman's reflexes will allow him to fight in the pocket and counter Funeka from the pocket.

I was thinking Funeka-Guzman = PW=FMJ but slight different, Funeka uses his height and reach well by fighting on the outside, Paul Williams doesnt...bit of a waste really.

 

Corrales has no jab. His a tall fighter with very short arms...check it yourself, Floyd has longer reach than Corrales. Not saying Corrales is garbage...he was very good but he was a tall brawler, not the tall outboxer floydtoyds seems to make out he was.

What does that have to do with anything? The guy has a very short reach, he cant fight as a tall outboxer because he has a short reach. Ok he is tall but he still has to stand within the range of his opponents arms cos his reach doesnt allow him to stand far back where he can reach his opponent but his opponent cant reach him.

Casa has 69" reach
Corrales has 70" reach.

Floyd has 72" reach
Paul Williams has 82" reach.

Do you understand? The guy cannot fight "tall", when I say tall I dont literally mean tall, I mean an outboxer such as Hearns that can pop the jab and straight right hand all night, back up always out of his opponents reach. Nightmare for any outboxer.
