Corrales at 5'11 with 71" reach and Williams at 6'3 with 81" reach, not even comparable.

He is not 6-1. If he is then Pavlik is what 6'0? Pavlik is listed at 6'2.

The guy in the middle is 6'4 1/2

Perhaps the fact that you said that Corrales had no jab and was a brawler. Corrales showed great boxing skills in that fight. Im doing you a favor child. You obviosuly have never seen many of Corrales' fights, im trying to learn you something. Corrales displayed defense, jab and boxing ability in that fight. Sometimes he brawled, but that was because he was good enough to do it. He could also box, as evidence in that fight.
Carlos Quintana. 72 inch reach.

Ok now im gonna get tricky on you and really expose your lack of knowledge. When has Paul Williams EVER fought tall, used his size and reach advantageand jabbed his way to a victory. I'll wait.

About the weight: that's the problem with advance weigh ins. really every fighter should do what funeka does (fight at a weight 10 plus pounds below your fighting weight and then rehydrate) so you know you're fighting guys your own weight on fight night.

i think a better solution would be to have same day weigh ins and testing for dehydration with penalties for being overweight or weight drained

No, you need the insight lol... Guzman is not Floyd. Floyd has respectable power, Guzman does not, but Guzman has skills, and was fighting a tall guy at his natural weight. If you think that Floyd can't break PW down, you're just plain stupid. Paul doesn't throw as straight as Funeka lol...so the **** what even if you are/think you're right lol This tread is a joke, and you're telling people that they need insight...:lol::lol::rofl

So Floyd cant handle bigger guys?
So theoretically is he fought Corrales at lightweigh,he'd have no chance?

Or Castillo at 135? again he'd have no chance?
What if he fought Oscar at 154?

Do you mean bigger guys like that??

    :lol::lol::lol::lol:

Please explain to me how can someone be a 5 weight division champion fighting smaller men?

Mayweather relies on special natural ability and skills, not power. Funeka? :rofl

    ******.

Funeka beat the pants off of Guzman, but I was surprised at how raw Guzman looked, and how many mistakes he made. As soon as Funeka started landing the jab Guzman was out of the fight. He had no answer for it, and no plan B. His defense was porous as hell, with him often trying to walk Funeka down with both hands down. Of course you're going to get hit like that. And, of course, Guzman wanted to make it an inside fight against a guy who was a better inside fighter than him. Guzman landed very well to the body, but Funeka had the shorter, more accurate punches inside. He looked very comfortable fighting chest to chest like that. Guzman threw wide, looping punches that just didn't get there in time, and were too loopy to land flush from that range.

Floyd at 147 is faster than Guzman at 135, no question. His defense is much more solid. And he knows how to throw compact punches from close range, something Guzman lacked.

I can't say that Floyd definitely beats PW, but I know that the Guzman fight has nothing to do with it.

Guzman was way too heavy he even looked soft in the ring, it surely affected his ability to move in the ring, he was very flatfooted. I dont know what planet you are on because 152 is junior middleweight. 152, 154 big ****ing deal. Thats still 3 divisions up from what he weighed in at.

Even at 152, Funeka didnt look to be carrying any extra weight. If anyone can move up it is funeka. The bottom line is Funeka looked too big for lightweight and guzman looked too small and a bit overweight.

The guy in the middle is 6'4. That puts Williams at about 6'2.
