One thing is for sure! Guzman is just hype! They say Guzman can easily ko or win over PAC! After watching the fight, I'm not sure the pac haters can still claim that he can win over PAC:think

Guzman may have won in the official scorecards but I'm not totally convinced he's better than FUNEKA!:tired

Uh no ****, Funeka whooped him pillar to post. Not better then Funeka is an understatement.

Funeka was impressive, as he was against Campbell, should have got the verdict on each occasion IMO. I only hope he isn't disillusioned with fighting in North America, it would be a loss for us fans if he fights out of South Africa. I think him and Valero are the two best lightweights in the world.

I had Funeka winning 9 rounds to 3, as did Harold at ringside. It was one of the worst robberies I've ever seen live and in my view, Funeka should have wins over Campbell/Guzman and has a case to be the best LW in the world today.

Guzman is not hype and he would be a difficult matchup for Pac at 130.

It's just that styles make fights and Guzman's lack of power at 135 wasn't enough to secure him a victory against a guy he would have to be aggressive against.

if guzman didnt break his nose the fight would have ended up differently... if i was guzman i would chase a rematch fast....

guzamn had no respect for funeka really..... he just couldnt get into the fight because his nose & eye were leaking... he just wanted the fight to end naturally cause he wasnt going to quit... but he didnt want to fight any more under the circumstances

Guzman ain't hype, we base too much off of one fight. But the point stands...Funeka probably dropped 3 rounds in that one...complete robbery. Simply not the guy to get back in the ring with a year out of it, Funeka could just be the best lightweight in the world

    Are you for real man?

Did Funeka even look like he was in a fight?

    **** no.

Guzman just didn't have the power to do **** at that weight. Guzman is excellent at everything he does, but he CLEARLY does not have power.

Now, he could still win against certain opposition, maybe even the majority of opposition, probably against guys like Diaz etc, but not against a guy like Funeka.

He can't run from Funeka and the only way he could win was by fighting him, and he tried, but his power just didn't stack up.

Funeka won clearly by at least 4 rounds may be 5.

Not me. I'd rather see Guzman back at 130 or maybe against just certain guys at 135

I think he might be able to take Juan Diaz for instance.

If Guzman has a solid nose
    If Hatton was more careful
    If ODLH was more prepared
If MAB did not take PAC lightly
If JMM did not kiss the canvas 3x's

EVERYBODY WILL HAVE A DIFFERENT RESUME!!!

Dude, IF YOU START your SENTENCE with "IF"

We will have a totally different top 10 P4P RIGHT NOW! :hey
If YOU UNDERSTAND what I mean:lol:

My point on this thread is! Guzman is not as good or great(?) as what is projected here in ESB!

I hope PAC meets Guzman just for kicks before the his fight with PBF so PAC will have another boxer with a different color on his resume..

If PAC fights guzman. PAC will be called cherry picker! :rofl:lol::rofl
I believe PAC has the right to be cherry picker too like pbf :smoke

I wouldn't be surprised that Arum wants to put Pac in with Guzman now.
He would say Guzman fought his heart out and that Guzman would be a good test for Pac against Floyd.
