It would be like the fight we just saw. Only difference is Funeka wouldn't be able to take the punches like DeMarco did. Valero stops Funeka in 4 rounds.

 

Funeka's only chance is knock out. Unfortunately for him to win by knock out, he's got to survive the looping left hand that plagued him vs Campbell.

Valero lands that punch and finishes Ali Fun!gga around the 10th.

Yeah, talk about a bad scouting report. All the majority of us saw was his KO of Raheem and I think we all assumed he was a crude slugger. Shocked the hell outta me.

 

And then he showed us his boxing skills and toughness against grizzled veterans in Campbell and Guzman.

 

Ali beats Ed by way of KO. Ali is a better over all fighter. Ed has more powr but the size and demensions will be all Ed can handle. He won't be able to get inside Ali's jab and left hook. And it will end early. Now Valero has a punchers chance! But he can't get close enough to Ali to make it work for him.

 

Funeka won't last 5 rounds with Valero. Valero is a body puncher, and a chin checker, and no jab will be able to keep Valero off him. Valero's speed and power would be too much for Funeka. The southpaw style, the speed, Funeka would be to slow, and no match for Valero who is just getting better and better. Funkea has a snowball's chance in hell o winning this fight!

 

:good It's not a good look for Ed. He's a very capabale boxer with the skills and tools necessary to be a force but he's too reliant on his power. In fights he looses focus on boxing and looks for the KO b/c he has POWER. With Ali he'll be eating jabs and left hooks at will b/c Ed has a low left hand and loads up constantly to the point where you see his offense coming. THe length and height of Ali and the pressure will be a problem for Ed. Ed will need to show his boxing skills as he's done in the many documented sparring sessions that had me a believer.
