I've been having a rough time lately, hence my complete and total absence around here lately.

So here's something a little lighter. Only six minutes long, and the fight certainly doesn't last long, but if at least one of these commentators doesn't say something that makes you crack up even a little you might be dead on the inside, because this is some funny ****.

Gonzalez was in several fights that somehow turned into farcical contests. Pretty bizarre customer honestly.

All good ones, but the most farcically hilarious fight I've seen is the Mexican druglord with synthol injections that made him look like a parade float, throwing continuous straight punches with the hand speed of a snail hard-on at a guy who was very obviously paid to take a dive.

"He trow ponches een slow motion!"

Larry Holmes against Rocky Pepeli. Well, not so much the fight, but the post-fight interviews in any case. Watch from about 25 minutes onwards as Pepeli starts to give his take on the action....

The one Bobby Gunn - Shelby Gross fight was pretty funny.

Check out the massive heavy 'Jeep Swensen' vs. a young just starting small Mexican HW (youtube).
    Absolutely hilarious! :)

I would not like it as the opponent, but Jimmy Young yanking down Dokes' trunks in the middle of an assault was something I was not expecting. And Dokes did not have the power or savvy to get even with the guy. Bazooka Limon pulled the same stunt a few years later when he was regulated to opponent status.

Swenson, also at times a wrestler and bodybuilder and actor, later 'roided himself up to enormous size and then obviously died. His only other boxing match was against bodybuilder/wrestler/boxer/politician(!) Tony "Ludvig Borga" Halme, which was presumably not a legit fight.

One of my all time favorites is Corey T Rex Sanders vs Wolfgramm.

Someone weighed in on this fight in the YouTube comments that was "in the know" and around this promotion and suggested that "Smith" was a local bouncer who was offered $500 to fill in and take on Mosco and noted that they had personally seen these offers made to local guys at bars to fill bottom half of the cards who had zero amateur or pro experience.

Oh no! The guy was obviously better, more skillful. Landing to the body, throwing in combination... Then boom. Right on the temple.

    What a shame.

Whoa that guy had an accurate left hook, assisted by the victim's absent guard.

    Scary KO. A real beating.
