Bodell after beating Joe got a fight with Jerry Quarry, and some thought he stood a chance; the fight did not last a round, but that did not stop 'arry Carpenter asking Jerry post fight if Bodell was 'awkward'? Jerry's response:

    "He kinda fell awkward!"

Douglas-Monaco was sort of funny. Douglas fights a third rate Tyson impersonator, the first round ends uneventfully, and they return from the commercial to Douglas in his corner trying to regain his senses after being flattened.

Corey "T-rex" Sanders tko of Wolfgramm, when he flops down to the canvas in joy, and then realizes the referee hadn't stopped the fight, but then continues fighting and gets the tko win.

    Of course you're right Chock!
It's just his awkward style plus the stuck out chin, which people didn't seem to be able to miss.
You've got to give him big credit for all he achieved in the game.

Jerry also said: " In the first round, when he threw a punch, his arms went flying out to his side. I just knew this was a guy waiting to get HAD!"
Haven't seen much Bodell but I'll guess his 'success' before trying the big boys, was based on sort of a hold and grab tactic( sort of a European Terrell) given his 6'6" frame.

I never laughed so much at a fight in years as I did watching Fury vs Wlad. Hysterical and at the same time very sad how low the hwt scene has become.
