He might have been knocked-out but not after that particular ring-walk: the youtube video is a mash-up, his gloves change colour half-way through.
Post Eubank Mrs Merton quizing Steve Collins about his claim he was hypnotised before they fought saying ' where you hypnotised to run at him like a drunk madman?'
That was classic, as was the Uzzy vs Séxton fight About that fight, what do you people think about the result? (McCarthy losing by TKO due to the headwound sustained by Mrs Wilson's shoe). My opinion is that it's about as ridiculous a decision as the situation itself.
Amazing result. Morgan (the ref) told McCarthy to continue. Steve, as mentioned, had an injury due to the shoe, and quite reasonable (IMO) refused to continue. Also Tony had, had time to recover from being on the verge of defeat. Although it may be little comfort for McCarthy, the sport learnt from this and ****** Smith got his son Dq'd when he entered the ring in the Hatton fight.
:yep Although it's also a little bit unfair to be DQ'd after a family member enters the ring or even participates in the fight, it's much less fair if the opposing fighter suffers a disadvantage or even defeat because of it. A NC would also be unfair. So a DQ looks like the lesser of two bads.
The Brummie "bad manz" that had the run in with Amir Khan, some of the videos they posted Naz & Eubank at Heathrow "I personally do hate him" Benn v Eubank Fury's gay plummer speech "She actually agreed to oral ***" Eubank live on Sky Box office Thompson's entrance against Price, the guy with the saxophone drumming out Born in the USA Monte Barrett falling into the ring against Haye Degale celebrating to early against Groves, then Adam Booth giving Mcdonnell the wanker sign Fury shadow boxing on the beach talking a load of **** about Haye and Chisora The build up between Naz and Kevin Kelly Eddie Hearn saying Frampton is the star of the super bantamweight division and how Quigg needs Frampton... oh the irony of that now! "He glussed me" Renda and Samuels double left hook knockdown Tony Thompson wheel chair fund interview And one of my all time favourite moments.. Tony Booth taking a fight on 1 days notice, taking a load of **** off the crowd, there all shouting "you fat *******" he turns to them does an Ali shuffle then pulls off a nuclear bomb of a right hand to put Langdale's lights out.
For me, the Cleverley Kovalev fight was pretty funny. In the build up, people asking why Cleverley was taking on a no name. Then during the undercard build up you could sense Kovalev wasn't there to make up the numbers. Then Cleverleys ****-take ring walk. The grin on his face soon changed after the first exchange.
Herbie hide and michael bentt rolling round on the floor in the pissing down rain in their expensive suits. Herbie hide getting beat in cuts and crying that he'd just lost to a bum with his opponent sat next to him nodding his head in agreement.
