I hate Floyd as much as anyone on here but his resume pisses on Calzaghe's. If only for his career at 130 and 135.

Won a title at 130, then took on a fighter ranked in the top 5 P4P by Ring Magazine at the time and generally regarded as a beast in Corrales and absolutely took the **** out of him.

Then moved up to 135, took on the best fighter in that weight class immediately and beat him twice (the first fight was not a robbery.)

 

Shove....****ing hell, he spun him round and banged him into the turnbuckle...theres no place in boxing for that ****. :nono

 

I'm not sure I'd put Gatti in as one of Floyd's top 10 wins, a bit of a coming out party, world class display of boxer-punching though.

 

Mayweathers coming out party was Corrales @130 !!!!! atsch

That part of the post wasn't particularly well worded I admit.

 

Floyd won an alphabet title @130 then had his career best win in Corrales , his career in terms of boxing i.e. dangerous credible opponents in his own weight class has gone down hill since !!!!!!

He then lost against against Castillo by a country mile and edged out a re match shortly after !!!!!!

He then cherry picked and beat smaller , over matched , shot fighters from that point onwards !!!!!!!

Agreed we have Mosley now , but thats only because he's been backed into a corner to fight him !!!!!

The Angel Manfredy fight gets over looked these days but was considered a very good win at the time.

You gave me 'facts'.... Did you read your 'facts' ??? Just look at the two lists of fighters you wrote down and then tell me seriously that you believe the fighters in Group A to be better than the fighters in Group B given the circumstances of the fights.
