Funniest/most stupid comment you have heard from a boxer?

That photo was a while back. Hamed is a hell of a lot fatter now. I cannot think off the top of my head when it was but Hamed was talking about a rematch and Barrera looked up and down at the fat **** and just laughed

I remember that photo, Naz was even interviewed on air at the same time. Can't for the life of me remember which fight it was though, pretty certain it was a Hatton fight (Barrera attented a few of Ricky's fights). It was a few years ago now though.

 

Funny comment from a sports journalist to Joe Bugner at a press conference:

Joe was getting pissed off with all the negative press and out of frustration stood up and yelled "Get me Jesus Christ and I'll fight him!"
To which a quick-quitted member of the press immediately responded:
"You're only saying that because you know he has bad hands!"

 

That was a shite night. Guzman pulled out with about 2 hours to spare.

We got that epic that was Bradley vs Cherry instead.

I'm sure around that time there were loads of fights that just didnt come off... Froch v Inkin, Mosely v Judah, Skelton v Sam. Might have been earlier than the Campbell v Guzman one but I'm sure they were around the same time...
