Funniest Pacquiao article you've seen

The few days following a Pacquiao fight are like Halloween. Or a strange vortex between time and space, when all known fact no longer applies.



Just for a bit of fun, what are the stupidest articles you've seen on Pacquiao in the last few days?

Where the author has claimed that Pacquiao can now be considered better than Sugar Ray Robinson and Ali.

Leo Reyes goes further, and argues that beating Josh Clottey and Margarito has elevated Pacquiao to the greatest of all time.

Dan Raphael was pretty funny as well yesterday. Trying very hard to come out with an web-traffic friendly explantion of why it was the greatest fight of all time.

I think he came out with:

"People try and talk down Margarito and Clottey. But the truth is, these guys have been either world champions or former world champions"

There's no "either" about it. Both former

 

Man, I honestly have nothing but respect for Pacquiao. It's just the reaction.

Like Tyson dude. I remember 20 million fans trying to convince me he was better than Ali..................

 

There is a simple argument, that can't be argued against, when you are compiling all time great lists.

Everyone in the current top 20 have not only fought and beaten the (other) dominant fighter, of their era, but most of them have done it a few times.

Guys like Ali and Robinson did it about 7-8 times.

Aint no argument for either Manny or Floyd in any top 25 at the minute. Lots of borderline Hall of Fame opponents don't cut it at that level.

There is honestly more of a case for Roy Jones in the top 25 than either of these guys. And I'll be happy to explain to anyone who wants to know why.

 

Media/fan reaction to Pacquiao is what gets him hate. Not what he does in the ring.

Think most fans would accept Margarito was a good win, good opponent, good performance.

Man, it aint going to make you better than Ali though.

Sorry, I'm just joking. Robinson never defeated the great Margarito. Which is why he's 5th behind Pacquiao, and the 3 other guys who destroyed him.

Oh, and probably Josh Clottey as well, as he gave him a bit of a beating as well
