I remember my mother cracking up when that dickhead Eubank (I mean that in a nice way) claimed, "I have a transcendental mind".

I remember Khan being interviewed after one of his fights a good while back.

The andrenaline was still flowing and he started talking 100 MPH and stuttering and he said something like:

"I'm going to be a World Champ real soon, it's not far away now".

Quote from Khan on BBC Boxing

"Diaz and Pacquiao are great fighters, but I could beat them both," said Khan.

"I'm fighting in front of a 10,000 sell-out on Saturday night so I think I'm one of the main men in the division.

I nearly fell of my chair laughing.

Bob Arum, after his fighter, Iran Barkley, won a fight: "If you think Barkley was mad before the fight, wait until he sees how many people are taking part of his purse."

After Frank Maloney parted company with Lewis you could see how bitter he was about it...at some point later he said about Scott Harrison...

"The way he is in training right now he could take anyone in the world, I would hand on heart give him a real chance at beating Lennox Lewis at this stage, I'm not joking, Scott is so aggressive and hitting so hard that he could take Lewis at this point".

I was going to say that one :good

Look how many Danish fans used to go and see Brian Neilsen and i certainly dont recall him ever being a main man in the division :yep

When he starts to beat a couple of prime top 10 fighters in the division then he can call himself one of the main men.

I would love to see Khan vs Katsidis, would be the greatest 90 seconds of boxing ever.

    **** off!

I remember some trainer on FNF saying something like "Go to the body...there's organs there!!!". A few of Larry Merchant's have been absolutely classic. "That whale has just been harpooned". After Forrest got a massive gift against Quartey, he started thanking God, his family and so on. Merchant piped in with "I think you should also thank the judges". Just before Jones/Ruiz, Foreman came out with "Tonight the referee is going to be the most important man in the ring apart from the two fighters" or something like that. I also like Larry Holmes' "Is your name Fanny? Peter? Ok, Peter. If I offended you, so...****ing...what".

Serious, that is not word for word, but that is basically what he said and he added in the bit about being serious to make sure people did not think he was just saying Harrison was looking great in training.

Like Don King said about Frank...

"A mental midget". That works in two different ways, just add a comma after mental and it gives it a whole new and still very apt meaning.
