Imagine Fights ..friendship fight .. You can call it Exhibitions... Imagine a tournament...middleweights,super middleweights and light hws all time greats in a team vs the heavyweight legends.
They only can win by points... No knock out.4 rounds.
    For example...
    Marvin hagler vs Ali
    Carlos monzon vs Mike Tyson
Roy jones jr vs joe Frazier
    Bob foster vs Larry holmes
    M.spinks vs joe Louis
    Ray robinson vs Larry Holmes
    Adre ward vs Rocky Marciano
    Lamotta vs jack johnson
    James toney vs George foreman
Any chance for the smaller dogs here under these rules?

Mickey Walker was in real fights like these. But if the Hvyweight got really serious, then the
end result wasn't pretty for the little guy. Except for Roy Jones running/dancing around Joe Frazier, for 4 rounds,
don't see any small guys beating a true bad-bass Hvywt over 4 rounds in your scenario.

Actually i like more the chance of toney here than roy's. Remember that it must be to the points.. Foreman could not ko him... Monzon would well too i think..

You be right....but it will be hard for the heavyweight to throttle back is own power to let the lighter man last.

What about ward vs rocky in a real fight but only 4 rounds ? Could he survive?

Frankly, yes there is a chance, and it's really not debatable. We already have empirical evidence.
Although for the most part the middleweights would (I expect) get creamed, there's no reason whatsoever not to presume we'd see exactly what we saw in earlier eras when weight classes were less stringent and natural middleweights did fight larger men. There'd be occasional outlyers with just the right combination of attributes to hang with the big men, Like Fitz, Greb, Ketchel, Kid McCoy, Mickey Walker...

One caveat though: I think they'd be at much less disadvantage with smaller gloves and longer fights.
