Regarding his fight against Antonio Margarito, Mosley was asked if the Mexican could punch. Mosley said, I dont know - he never hit me.
Yeah...Kind of funny since not to long after the fight he said he could feel Margarito's power. I'm sure loaded gloves or not when he did hit Mosley...Mosley did feel it. Why else would you HAVE TO clinch every 12 seconds, and run around the ring. I dislike Mosley, but I did give him mad respect in the first round because he tryed to show Margarito he wasn't taking it, and knock him out. After that though it looked like a hugfest until the first KD, and then ultimately the TKO. He just wouldn't let Marg get off any punches, but can't say as I blame him. You just shouldn't talk smack about your opponent after you hugged him for 7 rounds, and made him tired from just chasing you, and then you KO him.......Even if the man did cheat.
1. You're full of it. Mosley did not even come close to clinching as much as you said. 2. You don't get boxing at anything beyond the most basic level if you don't see that clinching is a part of the game and a standard defensive move. 3. You really don't get boxing if you don't see that Mosley's clinching was designed to break Margarito's rhythm and never let him get up in the 100 punches a round pace that slowly broke down Cotto. Hence the different outcomes to Margarito vs Cotto and Mosley vs Margarito.
Shane Mosley connectd over and over again with his straight right, I didnt expect it to be such an easy fight for Shane.
