He was rooting for Khan because if Khan had won it would have made him a **** load of money.

And he was happy when Garcia won because it made him a **** load of money.

Well either way he would have celebrated, money either way..However he looked extra happy maybe because a Roach fighter got KO'd?? I am sure he would have rather had "Khan-Mayweather"

Garcia is totally marketable so is not like Oscar is at a loss here. Khan is popular but Garcia is undefeated Hispanic who just got a two back to back big names. he is about to skyrocket and Oscar is still there to get it! Plus Danny is more durable.... it is hard to promote a fighter who prolly will get upset at anytime.

Having the undefeated lineal light welterweight champion in his stable is reason to celebrate.

the show must go on. he has to keep pushing the winner. his job is to promote big fights and let the chips fall where they may...not try and control the outcome.

His employees? I hate the sound of that. That may be how the promotional system is set up, but it should be the other way around. Fighters are the employers.
I give props to the few fighters who have taken the responsibility of placing promoters where they should be in their careers.

I think a Latino in the US of Puerto Rico Descent and them being the 2nd biggest Supproting ($$) fanbase to their Rivals Mexico.. Means a lot to GBP as they have him under GBP.

Khan was trying to become a cross over star, who the **** cares about a Glass Chinned UK Hype.

DG is an Undefeated Lineal Champ, with Heart, chin, and power... crowd pleasing as well... I think GBP actually makes more $$$ with DG then khan.

A fighter can be an employer, but it is usually when the fighter can AFFORD to choose his own promoter ala Floyd, Cotto, DLH, even dumbass Pacquiao could have been the employer.

But a fighter like Khan, he has no chance. He is too risky, promoters invest money, lots of it into fighters, and they require contracts to assure they make a profit.
