Actually from day one I said he faked, I can't deny what my eyes show me and that's a glancing blow to the jawline with Dirrell having a moments pause before what I perceive as acting.

6 1/2 months we've had nothing, no reports of imbalance, headaches, sickness, nothing. Then suddenly 6 weeks out from a fight where Dirrell was already heard saying he doesn't want to fight this happens??

That's just too much of a coincidence for me to handle.

However on reflection, If the small possibility happens to be true that he is indeed injured I will stick to my guns that it wasn't caused by a slight glancing blow to the jawline. More an accumulation of punches or a pre existing problem that has only just surfaced.

I hoenstly don't know what you expected to read in that 6.5 months. We aren't privvy to every peice of information on these guys, let alone medicals.

I could honestly care less if you thought it was fake right off the bat. You can think it was glancin g and he's faking it, or accept that he WAS hit with an illegal blow and suffered some minor damage.

Why do you think those types of blows are illegal? Could it be becasue they don't need a full force shot to be damaging? :think

The truth is, maybe he was fine afterwards. Could have gotten worse as sparring went on. Biggest truth is, you really don't know. None of us do, yet people have no qualms talking **** about a guy who fights for aliving.

 I used to argue with that stuck up ***** constantly, my favourite was owning him on Oscar being drained, he still argued when presented with Roach's words admiting it.

****ed up but I actuallly miss his arrogance.

like every other here who has common sense, they come up with this too late.. i mean sure if it was within a month that they came off with this, id prolly believe it..

but since his scans/test came off clean, no concussion was seen whatsoever .. why in the blue crap did this just happen 7 months ago? afaik both ward/dirrell have no intention really to fight each other ..

I pay good money to follow boxing therefore I'm entitled to an opinion same as you.

I'll tell you why it wasn't invented, for someone to slip in a corner when close to exhaustion and the other guy is coming on strong, take a glancing blow and think "**** I've been given a get out clause!!!" and lie down.

Another truth is you don't know either, it's all speculation at this point, you're no more right than me at this point.

Even if it's against a guy you know will more than likely beat you, who's a friend, who will impact on future earnings, who you've been heard saying you don't want to fight, after 6 1/2 months with ZERO symptoms?

He loses and that 7 figure pay check becomes a boarderline 6 figure paycheck next fight, and the fight after that, for x amount of fights till he works his way back into the limelight.

I've already stated there could be a problem, a small chance imo, if there is putting it on AA's shoulders is a **** move because no way that punch done the damage all by itself. Some guys here are saying AA should be banned for life, that's far more ******ed and unfair than anything I've stated.

Like most people, I would believe Dirrell if it wasn't from all the **** that happened before. Someone posted a thread yesterday or 2 days ago about how this fight will never happen. I wake up this morning and I read that the fight won't happen because of some undisclosed injury. You want me to believe this ? I don't think his own mom believes this !

Actually, since I am saying we don't know, my speculation is more accurate then yours contention that he's for sure faking it.

The only thing that's 100% certain is: You weren't hit, you have no idea the damage done. I can sit here all day and claim fighters fake ****, but why? It's pointless.

It is not out of realm of reality that there are aliens, but it is probably highly unlikely.

So if you don't know why are you arguing against a guy who's obviously commited with his view?

I'd also add there is absolutley no way any damage can be purely put down to that last blow. People can speculate but there isn't a neurologist on this planet who can point and say "yup, that's the blow that did it", that's fact.

He hasn't sparred since the AA training camp. Hasn't trained at all for Ward.

    http://boxing.fanhouse.com/2010/10/0...and-dizziness/

"Has Andre been able to spar since the symptoms began?

Not at all. We haven't been in the gym since the Arthur Abraham fight. To tell you the truth, Andre is the heaviest that he's ever been. That's something that we're looking at also. Andre is walking around at around 190-something."

    correct.
