My favorite three fighters of this era (most entertaining)

    Tyson
    Golota
    Gatti

A buddy and I first decided we would go see our hero Andrew Golota get a easy win over the limited title holder Lamon Brewster. (Golota was favored 3:1) So we drive up 6 hours to the windy city and well.....You all know the rest. 53 seconds. our hero chopped down like a redwood.

Second we decided well Golota's out so the only nastalgic presence left was Tyson who was fighting just weeks later so we decide to make the 7 hour trip to DC To watch Tyson mop the floor with this big Irish punching bag. Well 6 rounds later we see Tyson not come out for the 7th round. Iron Mike had lost in what was sure to be a one round blowout on his way back to the heavyweight title. (Once again Tyson was a big betting favorite.)

Well a year later we decided to pack it up and try one more time and head on over and watch Arturo Gatti win another championship with a easy decision over a fellow named Carlos Baldomir. (Who we watched win a boring decision over Miguel Rodriguez on the undercard of Golota it was a) I remember somebody yelling after that "Good luck with Judah" I thought the same thing. As did I with him and Gatti. In What was a entertaining fight mostley due to the electric Gatti crowd, Gatti was stopped in the 9th. I didnt event know that Baldomir dominated the fight (I was so far away) untill after the fight when I spoke with Merchant and Lederman.

Point being after spending a combined $3,000 bucks between all my fav fighters and seeing them all crash and burn. I came to the conclusion that I have some really bad luck. Thats why I am here chating on the forums instead of in a hotel in Atlantic City right now waiting for Gatti to have a "easy" comeback win over Gomez. Regardless, each trip besides the outcome of the fights I had a helluva time met many fighters and all in all had a damn good time.

Anybody got any good fight stories that can beat that trio?

I went to see Toney a few months ago and expected him to put a clinic on Batchelder and destroy him, but it ended up being a close fight with Toney winning by SD in one of the most boring fights I've ever seen, even for HW standards. The undercards were absolute **** too. I might go to the Ray Bautista / Ponce de Leon fight in August.. I don't think there's any way that could be disappointing though.
