Ricky Hatton is already mapping out his schedule for the megafight with Manny Pacquiao on May 2 at the Thomas and Mack Center in Las Vegas. Once the fight details are finalized, Hatton plans to go on a tradional cruise with his family at the start of the new year. Hatton has already locked in the date of February 1 for the start of his training camp, with trainer Floyd Mayweather Sr. Pacquiao became the main target of Hatton after the Filipino fighter dominated Oscar De La Hoya over eight rounds on December 6. "Manny has been at the top of my radar since he beat Oscar De La Hoya. I went in with the best fighter in the world in 2007 when I lost to Floyd Mayweather and I will do the same when I get in the ring with Manny. Every boxer wants to prove himself against the very best and that is what I have done again and again," Hatton told The Sunday Mirror. ___________________________________________________ atsch
Lol, I thought that when I initially read that article.. Had a quiet chuckle, but I know what he meant
If you read it in the context that it was writen it shouldnt take a genuis to know that he was only talking about fighting the best fighter in the world and not about the outcome of the fight....Take out the "When I lost to" and add "When I fought" and you will get what he is saying.
Funniest thing Ive heard him say was at the UFC Lesnar/Couture fight They asked him what he would do if he finds Brock Lesnar in bed with his girl...Ricky said hed tuck him in:rofl:rofl
