They're right. Most boxers at that time had no skills compared to fighters of the modern era - from the late 60's on. There are some exceptions though, and Armstrong is one of them.

Pac will go down as the best ever period.......I think Pac can beat a prime Tyson on point. He probably won't knock Tyson out but he can out point Tyson. How's that LOL

There were alot more action packed fights back then, but at a very high level. To simpletons it looked bad because many of the arts of boxing have been lost. Back in those days fighters fought and learned thier craft, now a days its finding the safest easiest fastest route to a belt then to big money fights.

Im a boxer and from a technical point of view, I cant see the skill in what they do. Sure you can see the skills they are trying to employ and do it to the best of their ability for what they know, but it seems somewhat primitive. I read though that different rules, different gloves could change the way a man fights...I wouldnt know as I only ever fought under 1 rule. 1 thing is for sure though, most of them keep their hands up on their chest, protectiting their chest as oppose to their chin under any rules is not really advisable.

If they fight at catch weight at 145.73 Pac wins by Tyson hearth attack. I'm seriously thinking to start to collect *******s post and post them some they. I think that one of the biggest enemies of the pac now nation is Duran. Because Doug Fisher said that he is going to kick Manny's ass haha in a dream mach haha.

Probably. But pac needs to stay focus. Or else, he will lose on points.

Modern boxers do have it alot easier that past fighters. PBF for example says he wants to be remembered as the greatest of all-time. he only has 40 fights, when the real ATG's have 80+.

Back on the subject. You couldn't hurt or outpunch Hammerin' Hank.

As I said to simpletons its appears that todays fighters are more skilled, but the truth is part of what your saying. Back then fighters were fighting pretty much twice a month. Example Archie Moore in 1951 had 9 fights in 3 months and a total of 18 fights that year, its hard to look good everytime when your one fighting so often and two not picking guys that you know that you will look good against.

Given the higher skill level in those days if you gave those guys 3 or 4 months to get ready for a fight they would have faired much better..

Lastly I think that many here are confusing SKILL with talent and ability. Todays fighters are without a doubt more talented and blessed with more god given ability do to continuous evolving, bigger, stronger, faster, and much less skilled.

Its like saying that an Ivy league educated Doctor that has been a doctor a quarter of the time as a Doctor that has done 8 times as many things is more skilled. It just isnt true.
