Nah the second time he went down there was only a few seconds left in the round and fighters have recovered from rounds like that to fight on. Remember Trinidad vs Vargas?

I believe Bayless said that he considered stopping it after the second KD, but, decided to give Hatton another round.

BAYLISS gave HATTON well enough time to recover 1st time. He even wen back to HATTON when PAC was going for more to start touching his gloves etc give hime more time to recover.

If it was an undercard fight it would have been. Or a prospect vs bum fight, Pacquiao made it look that easy.

Bayless looked like he was going to stop it during the 2nd KD, he sort of stepped in between them and then jumped back out.

Bayless gave Hatton a big break after the 1st knockdown he kinda let him get his legs back by letting Manny go to the other side of the ring.

Agreed. Fact is, it would have been over in the first if there was more time left.

Maybe. Depends on the ref but I don't doubt that it being such a big event had something to do with it. Hatton almost looked like he wanted it stopped at that point.

the funny thing is, the second knockdown was a punch that hatton blocked with his glove. and he still went flying off balance. he was definitely alright, but ****, pac must be hitting pretty damn hard at 140 to knock hatton down on his ass through his glove. quite impressive.
