Fella on Facebook was saying that Tyson would of smashed both Manny and Floyd. He obviously knows **** about boxing...

 

Bit like the experts on here mate who were very excited about this fight even though the more shrewd knew it would be a stinker and ALL ABOUT MONEY.

I've been watching boxing for 30 years and I honestly couldn't tell you for sure that it wasn't.

I mean, when you get a "fight" as dull and slow and with such a low punch output as that, it's hard to say for sure that both guys were trying.
I wouldn't say "fixed", but there was a certain amount of fakery about it, certainly from Floyd. I mean, his whole game is to do the absolute minimum.

Reminds me of the old fairground boxers fighting a "gee", a boxing show with some real punches but nothing about it proves it was a "REAL FIGHT".

I think in this day and age people have forgotten what a real fight looks like.
We're so used to these little workouts where no one gets hurt, and the ridiculous fake stoppages and "slapping" punches.

there is plenty on this forum that know a ton more than i do , but i dont pretend to be a know-all , i follow certain fighters in a few different weight classes and thats as far as it goes , i know more than some of my friends so if they ask me what most on here would consider a dumb question i dont laugh at them i try and explain to them in easy terms to understand where they are seeing things wrong .

this is the problem with posting on forums like these , 90%+ of posters just want to belittle other peoples thoughts and opinions , we all cant be top of the class on every subject/sport and im sure even the most smartest of posters on this forum have asked a few pretty stupid questions on things they know very little about at one time or another .

so the next time someone asks "why doesnt floyd mayweather fight klitshko ?" , i know its funny , but instead of brutally killing them via the forum just try and educate them a little bit . you never know that poster might be a friend of yours that just wants to learn a bit more so he can at least watch a fight in the same room as you one day and not look an idiot when he opens his mouth .

Also the 'and 0' part of Chavez's record was somewhat controversially kept in tact after he lost an early fight on a Dq.
