Hopefully, like i said he is potentially going to be one of the best and i take your point about having to push the fight and not fighting the way he wants, so i suppose we will only see the best of him from title level onwards. And yeah i'm too scarred to tell you my name...you might have a heart attack :yep

Frankie Gavin's good enough now to beat any LWW in the country! In many ways stopping a opponent on there feet when they can't take any more is every bit as good as a KO imo

Dean Byrne and Michael Kelly have literally thrown their hats into the ring to take on Gavin!

I'd be shocked but delighted to see Byrne v Gavin. It makes little sense for both fighters at this stage of their careers. I don't believe Byrne really wants to fight Gavin. It doesn't compute that he genuinely wants to share the ring with him at this moment in time, same goes for Gavin. I'll bet anything this fight won't happen.

Sorry i'm not a troll and i'm just postiing my opinion so i will say it again...Gavin has the potential to be one of the best technical boxers this country has ever seen, he is just not my cup of tea style wise, what is trolling about that?

harsh calling him a troll mate. He is expressing an opinion that I disagree with but some people dont apprciate the fine arts of pugilism. Frankie would admit himself that he isnt a "banger"

I think you will see the best of him at title level, as another poster mentioned earlier. Guys who come at him and let him fight his fight - that's what he needs.

I'd say he needs maybe three more learning fights against durable opponents before stepping it up. Maybe a Colin Lynes (although he has struggled of late) or Barry Morrison...then he'd be ready for Daws who is a good honest domestic champ but a very winnable fight for Frankie
