Wouldn't surprise me, from what I've been told he's being held together by duct tape for this fight.

Legs have gone, Usyk would dance round him and pick him off for fun all night.

Imagine retiring and your swansong is Dillian Whyte. That's up there with May/Berto.

Same as me. Far too long to read when the answer is, as it always has and always will be with Fury, believe absolutely nothing of what he says.

There's not a chance he'd turn down the chance to fight Usyk for undisputed or Joshua in a mega money fight. I don't understand where this notion that Fury is "scared" of Usyk has come from. I'm sure he knows it's a very tough fight, but none of the top fighters are "scared" of eachother.

The only time to belive Tyson is when he's in the ring. He talks nonsense to keep his name out there.

Yea he does. And in this case one of his fans buys into it. The op. He’s a fan boy.

Before the 2nd Wilder fight, Fury said he was going to fight on the front foot and knock out Wilder.

Everybody laughed and said he was lying.

Sorry, I've worded that wrong, implied I have some inside knowledge. When I say been told I just mean from talking to people on twitter, who like you say probably know **** all. I think it all comes from his performance against Wilder and needing double elbow surgery. He's also got a doctor in camp full time, which I find weird. Is that common practise?

Because Fury has said the same thing for every fight before that. It wasn't a case of wow he's never said this before.

That would be my guess. If he can come out of this deal with his unbeaten record, the wbc strap, lineal status and now a massively increased profile and following, then he's very well positioned. What he may want is additional leverage come any conversation about a unification fight and the threat of retirement may help with that. It's kind of a no loss thing to say. It drives some headlines, concentrates the minds of those who have to make the next offer to him, the only downside is that perhaps it gives his opponents a sense that his focus is waning.

If he beats Whyte I can't see him not fighting the winner of Usyk v Joshua 2.

Fury has literally said this to hype a one sided fight, with an absent opponent and to keep you girls in the knitting circle gossiping about him. Fury is the ultimate definition of a contradiction.
