He's fine, He was training in 50 celcius Vegas with top quality sparring partners who are better boxers than Wilder. It drained him off, got covid, the entire reset worked out really well for him. The adjustment period when he flys out to Vegas will bring his baseline energy back to normal.
There is not a chance in hell that Fury retires if he beats Wilder again and then Whyte. Not a chance. Also no surprise to see no Usyk on that list. Fury doesn't want to face Usyk because he knows he is a real threat. He will sit there and say Usyk isn't good enough but he will say that he wants to face Chisora again. Pathetic.
Fury is such a hype job. Taking 4 tune up fights before the big one V Chisora. We all know he'll probably duck del boy at the last minute too.
Unless HW novice Usyk beats AJ twice, he's not in the picture. Fury isn't assuming that he loses the money and legacy fight with AJ to fight a cruiser for relative peanuts.
He gonna beat street fighter Wilder and bodybuilder Joshua and show true king until his retiring. He is the most skilled and talented HW of our era.
I really rate Usyk but imo Whyte is more of a threat to Fury. Whyte could knock Fury out but Usyk isn't going to out point him.
The best should compete against the best. Peanuts this and that, from a man who apparently opposses materialism yet contradicts himself all of the time. Several million won't cut it. Poor excuse.
Well lets not act like Usyk can't KO Fury, he got dropped and Cunningham even stunned him to the poimt where he had Fury clinching for dear life at one point. It's a big task but it's not impossible
I'd much rather see Whyte than Wilder part III. Although I will admit one thing, I watched the first one the other night and there is an electric feeling actually seeing 2 top HWs go at it.
Even if we take money out of the equation what has Usyk done at this point at HW? Outboxed 37 year old Chisora in a more difficult than expected fight where he lost several rounds. Fury completely dominated and schooled 30 year old Chisora 7 years ago and stopped him while in 2nd gear. Beating Usyk does little for Fury's legacy compared to beating AJ and by the time Fury is done with Wilder and AJ, Usyk will be at least 36 years old (not a good age for a cruiser who especially depends on speed, agility, reflexes and stamina) and have picked up more wear and tear from the AJ fight and any other fights he has in between (assuming he does not retire, which is a distinct possibility). If Usyk beats AJ twice then I don't doubt that Fury will fight him provided he beats Wilder, it would be the logical fight to make. But until then, Usyk is not on Fury's radar. He probably won't beat AJ due to home/A-side advantage and he has to respect Hearn's rematch clause even if he does. It's a tall, tall order, historically unprecedented.
I'd love if it was true however Fury called Whyte one of the most underrated guys in the divison and he would fight Whyte. Then a less than a week later Whyte calls his bluff, Fury replies than he is a but and doesn't deserve to fight him. I think 8f Whyte and Fury do fight I would favour Whyte to win it. If Fury is able to win all 4 fights, Fury in my opinion would without a doubt be amongst the 10 greatest HWs of all time and arguably in the top 5.
He needs to put Wilder up there twice. A 4th fight will be in order after Fury loses by KO in the 3rd installment.
