Sorry for actually watching the limited footage of guys such Louis and Marciano and not romaticising about them. Being of opinion that the level of quality in the HW divison technically improved dramatically from Patterson era (and further more in the 60s compared) to prior.

 

Maybe since the Louis era but not the Patterson era, boxing now is no more technically evolved then when Liston put on the gloves

Patterson era showed a big improvent in my opinion and further more with Liston era yes.

 

Usyk will beat AJ.

 

Patterson was far more skilled than today`s heavies, the peek a boo was brilliant, trainers aren`t as savvy as D`Amato was now.

 

So one of Tyson's best wins will be a guy who will potentially have FIFTEEN LOSSES in Chisora by the time that rolls around? Log out, mate.

 

I don't think so. I've been watching his fight against Gassiev. His style seems to be based on a lot of jabbing and moving in and out. I think he'll have the same problem Loma did against Lopez. That doesn't work against a bigger opponent.

 

Lopez is more skilled than AJ and went to the body well, AJ has stated he wants to outskill Usyk but has nowhere near Usyk`s skill level.

 

I honestly don’t think he will, he knows he needs the AJ fight to secure his legacy at the top of his generation. He would become the next Riddick Bowe if he avoided AJ. If he doesn’t fight AJ it will haunt him for the rest of his life.
