Some of the best ever seen at heavyweight. This man clears his head extremely quickly and fights back in good form only moments after being nailed with big shots. It’s truly impressive. He did it early in his career with Neven Pajkik, Steve Cunningham and now has done it twice against the huge punching Wilder. It is an underrated asset and the best in a long time.

The fact that a man his size can pick himself off the floor and fight back in itself is impressive.

His recovery and engine are p4p #1

    Lol

In all seriousness though, his recovery is phenomenal along with his engine for a man his size , just amazing.

He takes his time when knocked down. Plenty could learn from him in that respect. It's the natural instinct of many to jump back on their feet as soon as they are knocked over. The ability to stay calm under pressure.

I've not seen anyone taking shots like that at HW and get up looking fully recovered in such a short space of time! For some fighters their conditioning allows them to do this, with Fury I believe it is more his mental fortitude and never say die attitude. Astounding

He has a fighting spirit equal to the size of his body. He looked ****, off form and still won with what he had.

Not only does Fury recover very well but his engine is unmatched in the heavyweight division.

Wilder is lean, strong and hits like a truck but his stamina and conditioning are sub-par. The low body fat heavy weights like Wilder, AJ, Wlad seem to gas early. Fury is one of the only current heavies that could go 16 rounds if needed like they used to. Wilder's biggest enemy in this fight was his own exhaustion which started before the half-way point.

Credit to Wilder for his heart. Even on the final KO, he was starting to get up at the 4 count while the ref waved it off.
