The money argument doesn't hold either. When the N'Gannou fight is done Usyk is by far the biggest payday out there. Two fights with him on top of the money he's already earned and the coming five generations will be financially secured. Ten fights against no hopers won't bring in as much. And I'm far from sure that Jones will be interested in facing him in a boxing much, and even less sure that anyone will be interested in it after he easily handles N'Gannou. Jones's boxing is the weakest part of his repertoire, while the opposite is true for N'Gannou. The real truth, which Fury revealed in an interview a little while back, is that his ego can't handle a loss to the much smaller Usyk. As it is now, he and his fans can always talk about about "midgets" like Ali, Holy, Holmes etc wouldn't stand a chance against a "super skilled giant" like himself, but if he loses to Usyk that's all out the window.
"Ducking" is not the right word . He is just to lazy / unwilling to train hard to make sure he wins such a fight .
We were fools enough to believe that Fury was the real deal, a guy that would unify and rule with an iron fist. Instead he's turned out to be a fat mouse in a lion costume, running his mouth and running his feet whenever the real lion appears. Profoundly disappointing.
You're not wrong, also when he came back and wanted a big payday vs Joshua, Hearn told him to fight someone decent first and he balked at that and fought a bunch of pushovers and then realised he wasn't getting Joshua until he showed he had something left and so fought Wilder. The fact that the Wilder fight blew up in a big way and led him to get a lucrative deal with ESPN has only assisted in his avoidance of taking on tough fights. His avoidance of Usyk has been shameful, but then should we really have such high expectations of proven PED user like Fury.
"Don't believe anything Fury says" "Believe everything Fury says" Take your pick bozo's. more bipolar than the madman himself. Fury has always shown discontent with regards to questions pertaining to other fighters when he is setup to fight someone else. Usyk will be present at Fury Nnganou and they have an entire post fight WWE match setup in the script ready to rock and roll. Fury has been in a huff recently because on the first day of rehearsals Usyk wouldn't let Fury slam him off the ropes.
Yeah sadly this is the truth. You lay out the facts here but we didn't want to see them. I thought that his duck of Klitschko was a one-off, caused by his realisation that Wlad was pissed and genuinely fired up for revenge. But as you have said, it's a pattern.
He demanded 50-50 against Joshua, which he knew they would never accept at that stage. And if they did, he'd just make more absurd demands until they'd have had enough, like he did against Usyk. It's a theme throughout his career.
If he holds true to his word of keeping on ducking Usyk, the riskiest fight he will have made in his entire career is facing a 39-year old champion, whom he never rematched. Which such a legacy it would be a sad joke to mention him among the great HWs.
They made wilder and Ruiz fight for mandatory They both protected fighters So Sillyman as to look further down to try and get a mandatory in place Al his own doing lmfao By right wilder and Ruiz should have been dropped from the rankings altogether Corruption runs deep Sillyman once classed a certain irish man practically a humanitarian Amazing what money will make one say and do
So wilder refuse to fight number two so keeps his number one slot whilst number two gets pushed in maks spot ? So the Mexicans are punishing the Mexicans to protect Al's egg But make now moved to third And still The top three wont speak his name Act like they dont know who he is
That will not happen because Fury is protected, everything is tolerated because he is mentally ill...
