I have to agree, and have said for a longtime that AJ doesn’t get past Usyk. Tyson talks ‘undisputed’ from the 29 minute mark.

No way does AJ drop the WBO belt willingly.

It is a business for him and the team around him. They are chasing maximum dollar, not maximum legacy.

If this leads to him fighting 40 year old men to defend a trinket, during his athletic prime then so be it. The big fights do not come off when the man holding most of the belts has this mentality.

Sure, AJ will drop the belt. Right after Nandrolone Fury drops the WBC belt. Fair is fair, right? Riiiight...

If Joshua decides to keep hold of the WBO, he will surely have to fight Usyk before he can fight Fury. That’s a very difficult fight for Joshua, one he could very realistically lose which would put a fight with Fury on ice till 2022. Added to that, if Wilder chins Fury or Pulev chins Joshua the same happens.

I don’t think fans care about who holds what belt, we just want to see Fury v Joshua.

No chance he will drop a belt or be expected to either so forget that idea.

Eddie has already talked plenty of times about how AJ might drop the WBO.

I think there's a strong possibilty of it. Because they will know that Usyk is a very hard fight that AJ could lose. They could do a deal to vacate the belt and face Usyk in the future.

Then by your own logic he’ll take two fight with Fury for £200m rather than make £25m facing Usyk in a risk it all mandatory?

Hearn would no doubt be open to it but i don't think Joshua would but we will see.

At the end of the day, Usyk is co-promoted by Matchroom and K2 Promotions. When the WBO is vacated, they will make Usyk V Parker for the belt. Hearn and Matchroom will be involved in undisputed with or without Joshua.

In an ideal world Usyk will step aside with promise to fight the winner but that is unlikely and of course why should he care about two Brits fighting he has the whole of Ukraine behind him the country of his birth and has every right to bring the glory to his home nation. Fury v Usyk is still worthy of undisputed and Joshua v Usyk is still a great fight, I expect the whole nation to get behind Joshua and give him that extra ten per cent that he found against Klitschko. Great times ahead if these fights do come off.

Sign a contract with AJ and then he will have to drop the belt.

    It won't be a problem.

If he’s dropping a belt then I’d rather see him fight usyk over old man pulev for the ibf.

Also sets up a defence against Dubois at Wembley

I think AJ would rather face fury/wilder though

if all this Covid stuff wasn’t happening I’d say they would have the fight signed by now but not anytime soon
