Fury makes me laugh, he comes out with all that **** about price at the weekend and then fights another bum? Lol!
Once again this will be Fury fighting someone in the World Top 50 by every ranking body available, yet Price is fighting someone outside the Top 50. It's an extremely winnable fight that will put him well on the way to a title shot in the WBC too. I gues this is why Tyson Fury keeps marching up the rankings whilst Price doesn't. Maloney needs to sort it out.
No **** Sherlock! The best that can be said of this fight is that it is good matchmaking/good bribery from Hennessey. How the **** has he jumped 5 places in the rankings when his last fight was 4 months ago?! And who is their fight mind thinks he is a top 5 HW :-(

So Klit retires. Either Arreola against Bermane is for the title or no.1 spot. Tyson wins and would leapfrog the loser to become number 2. Therefore the winner of Arreola and Bermane (number 1) would fight Fury (number 2) for the WBC. Thats how I think it'll go anyway. **** it then Haye fights the winner of Fury/Arreola in summer 2013. Price is his first defence. They all ignore Wlad due to the WBC's no unification rule.
This is a prime example of how easy it is to manipulate public opinion in Boxing and of how negative the promotion of British fighters can be on their subsequent careers. I'm not talking of the manipulation of 'hardcore' fans but of the more casual ones who might depend on promoters' interviews/press releases to get a picture on the opponents of their fighter. If Fury does fight Grano, Hennessey is right in saying it's versus a top 5 rated Heavyweight. But, we all know that's a load of garbage. There's probably 5 better Heavyweights in Britain alone than this fella and with the weakness of the division domestically, that's saying something. It's therefore very easy for Hennessey and fans of Fury to say that this is a vindifcation of them vacating the British & Commonwealth belts in order to move up to 'World Class'. When in reality, staying British champion and fighting Price would've been of far greater benefit to him when he steps it up than fighting this joker will be. It'd have been a far sterner test. So theoretically, let's say Fury beats Grano and then is installed as Vitali's next defence (unlikely I know). Is fighting Grano going to be in any way suitable preparation for a step up like that? No chance. But this is what happens with promoters all the time in Britain. What I hate even more than this type of situation is when they have 'World Champions', a.l.a Cleverly, basically learning on the job by picking up a belt and defending it vs. nobodies because they know he doesn't have the experience to take on other champions or real, genuine contenders. I think it's a real problem with British fighters and can hinder them when they get to the top level. I think Khan's relatively weak opposition before he won the WBA belt has affected him as he's gone on at World level and it's no surprise to see Froch being Britain's top fighters as he fought decent tests at British level and then continued challenging himself once he became a World champion. Froch is the benchmark fighters should look to emulate but unfortunately, that doesn't look like being the case. I liked Bellew's fight with Miranda because it was a risk reward fight for a prospect and though Glen Johnson is over the hill, he will give Groves a real test IMO and the experience george will gain will be invaluable. It's a shame British fighters are so keen to take a shortcut to winning a World title when we've seen with Froch and a number of overseas fighters than a tough grounding at domestic & then fringe world level can be hugely beneficial once you get to fighting for real championships.
