Fury-AJ needs to be Next (Makhmudov Post Fight Video)

Dubios carries equal power, but he's incredibly basic. AJ is just old and got caught first. He isn't the man he was pre-Ruiz (I'd back that version to iron out Dubios in three rounds).

 

The fights means next to nothing. Ironically, AJ's demands about who's boss regarding negotiations is precisely the same attitude that prevented himself fighting Wilder and Fury when it mattered.

They're all to blame.

To feed it is to promote what is subpar.

And that means you'll get more of the same.

 

I think the fight will happen in the end, there's a lot of money at stake. Personally I'm not very interested in this match, we're talking about two fighters who are long past their primes. In any case I struggle to see anything other than a Fury victory.

Whether or not AJ actually wants the fight remains to be seen. The ball is in his court, with Fury and Turki are apparently ready to make it happen.

Hearn and AJ got DAZN to offer Wilder $100 million for a 3 fight deal which included a fight with AJ. Wilder turned it down to go fight Fury. Wilder is on record admitting he turned it down. He took bad advice from the clowns around him like Shelly Finkel who thought Fury would be an easier pelt to put on the wall. It was just more babysitting of Wilder's record like they'd been doing his entire career.

The two times a fight between Fury and AJ could have been made post that decision were Fury being a complete ass and offering the fight knowing he couldn't or wouldn't take it. Once when he knew he was contracted to fight Wilder a third time and the second time after AJ had his meltdown versus Usyk. That time was extra egregious because Fury clearly had no intention of ever actually going through with the fight. His own people were begging him to let them hammer the deal out and Fury just laughed it off and said time was up. It was just him getting content for his reality TV show while clowning on AJ.

So how has AJ's demands killed any potential fight with either Wilder or AJ? There's literally no evidence of that. At this point, AJ is well within his rights to not dance to Fury's tune and get a legitimate deal hammered out. He's been given the run around so much by Fury, why would he trust a thing that idiot has to say? Plus, Turki is Fury's butt buddy and stealing away Hearn's fighters. So AJ/Eddie have to be strong in negotiations or otherwise they'll be staring down John, Shane, and Tommy Fury as the judges for the fight and Spencer Brown as the referee.

This is all a bunch of waffle anyway. Neither guy really has anywhere else to go. AJ could potentially fight Wilder as a tune up, but that's it. Neither him or Fury are in any condition to be taking on legitimate fights at this point. Fury can pretend he would want a 3rd fight with Usyk, but that's a load of horse manure. He knows he can't beat Usyk and he ain't looking to get embarrassed again. So this is all just posturing. This fight will happen by the end of the year.
