Dubois Vs AJ Dubois obviously has his limitations but is on a decent run. AJ is also on a winning streak but against lesser opposition. How will AJ cope with a young, hungry fighter with power that is coming to win? AJ has not shown anything noteworthy since losing to Ruiz so I don't buy into this new and improved AJ. The fight most likely ends by KO but this could go either way. Maybe slight favour to AJ but a Dubois win would not be a shock. Fury Vs Usyk Usyk won the first fight clearly and is rightly seen as number 1 at this moment. Fury had his moments of success and even looked dominant at times in the first fight, Usyk showed great adaptability and came through. Fury had the ability to win the first fight but with better tactics and fitness could have done better. A lot of people think that Usyk was far superior and that Fury has little chance in the rematch. This is not true, Usyk was better on the night and got his win. Fury will need to do much better in the rematch to have a chance of winning. A few small changes can make a big difference. This fight is a true 50/50. If Fury comes with better tactics and fitness, he can win this fight. At the same time, Usyk will adapt to what's in front of him. I don't see why so many are seeing this as a foregone conclusion.
Usyk is going to beat Fury much more easily. Dubois has a chance. I am still picking and rooting for AJ.
Fury is always underrated. People dislike him and so like to diminish his ability. Particularly AJ fans like to do that for obvious reasons but look at AJ's resume and it's clear Fury beats everyone on there AJ did and doesn't get KO'd by Ruiz Jr. So we can determine that Fury is at least as good as AJ, though different in style, but really Fury is better all in all. We can look at Wlad, Pulev, Povetkin, Parker, Whyte, basically the best wins of AJ. Fury beat Wlad of course. He beat Whyte. He would comfortably beat Pulev and Parker, and even Parker pretty much implied Fury was better than him. And as for Povetkin, he's too small and Fury might not KO him but would almost certainly win on points. Ruiz is even smaller and with less power and skill, Fury would destroy him. AJ would beat most of Fury's opponents, but it's a big call saying he beats Wilder three times. I think AJ could beat Wilder but not three times and there was definitely a good chance he got KO'd in that match up, which is exactly what AJ and Hearn thought too. Dubious has a lot of roids and a big punch, so he's dangerous, but he isn't great. That's why Joyce beat him comfortably. Joyce is not good.
FYI, I picked Usyk 9th round KO in the first fight which was almost right. But I'm picking Fury by SD/MD this time. Without the ninth round in the first fight, Usyk could have been robbed and I don't think there will be something like that ever again.
I’m a Fury fan but I’d feel a lot more comfortable going into this rematch if both his Father and Sugar were no longer part of Team Fury, Father Fury is too much of a distraction in camp, takes every opportunity to make everything about himself and not his son and as seen during the Usyk fight whilst shouting over the other Team members his corner advice was also clueless. Sugar has not brought any positives to Fury’s game at all,he basically has him fighting more offensive but without the punch to carry it off and at the expense of Fury’s natural way of fighting which is to use his boxing ability, elusiveness and natural attributes. Yes Fury can change things and adapt but Usyk can do this also, should Fury truly want to win this rematch then these changes are certainly needed with Team Fury .
Most people saying that Joshua vs Dubois ends in a knockout but i disagree. I think Joshua is going to coast to a comfortable UD. Got a little bet on it too so hope i’m right ! Oh and Fury is in no way, shape or form underrated. It’s just Usyk is the better fighter.
The fact that you had to argue Fury's greatness by using a lot of "wouldas" makes this post very funny. "Wouldas" don't exist. It's only your opinion. Maybe he would, maybe he wouldn't. Before October 2023 you would say that Fury beats Ngannou easily. He didn't. AJ was supposed to beat Ruiz easily. He didn't. Things happen. The FACTS are: AJ beat these guys. Fury didn't.
AJ might coast to a points decision but I would expect Dubois to throw everything at him if that happens, Dubois will then be open to some big shots but could also land one himself. If it is a tactical fight without too many big exchanges, I agree that AJ would outbox Dubois and win on points.
