Stick Lopez on Tyson Fury's shoulders and they'd beat Lomachenko on Anthony Joshua's shoulders

Loma is far better than Wilder, so Lopez should have won the award.

It's official ... Beating Deontay Wilder for the WBC belt equals beating the Pound-for-pound #1 fighter in boxing for all the Lightweight belts.

All the Wilder haters can suck it. (LOL)

The scary thing is Fury who I'm sure I must've mentioned hails from the tiny island of Great Britain should've won it again (joint winner with Usyk) in 2018 for schooling the frilly pink knickers off The Tuscaloser after spending the previous three years down the boozer. Fury had absolutely no right being in a ring with anyone in the top 50 that night after the industrial abuse he put his body through during those three years in the wilderness.

Hell, the amount of coke, booze and junk food he consumed alone during that time would spell a certain death sentence for the career of any top level athlete, let alone his battles with mental illness and having to shed over 140lbs of blubber after ballooning up to over 400lbs which obviously would've caused acute muscle atrophy and weakened him greatly. But sadly the judges robbed him of his rightful victory, his place in history, and being the joint winner of FOTY with fellow have gloves will travel warrior Usyk aka a real fighting man.

Frampton isn't from the island of Great Britain actually.

He is so. It's just a bit of land that broke off from the mainland and I don't hold that against my Irish brothers or subscribe to the theory that they no longer belong to the brotherhood because of that. Mi casa es su casa

Even though the spread of Covid-19 reduced the amount of boxing activities for various months, it is still highly wrong from the Ring Magazine to award this prestigious prize to two fighters who got only a win, albeit as notable as they both were. It would have been better to assign it to Román González, who showed his brilliance at a very old age for his division and triumphed againts two valiant opponents such as K.Yafai and Israel González.

Good to see 3 Eastern European’s have won it in the last 10 years, 2 Americans, a couple of Mexicans, 4 Latino etc shows diversity at the highest level.

I imagine that in this special year when it seems to me that no champion has done more than one fight, it was too difficult to decide between them. Fury becomes the first Englishman to own this title more than once since he had already had it in 2015 (personally I think Golovkin would have deserved it this year)
