Well , if we like it or not : usyk does not have even close the popularity and value of fury , the purse fully reflects it .
Usyk has shown close no nothing in hw , especially when we saw aj is not really in shape.

Cannot say for sure why he walked away from a fury fight but we can say he lost a lot of his reputation by choosing the absolute bum fight against dubois because of not having the eggs for facing wilder.

Fury ngannou is much more worth to watch , even as a fun exhibition

Yes there was more to it . Usyk had a condition that if he accepted the 30% then Fury had to donate £1 million to the people of Ukraine which Fury refused .

This saga has been overcomplicated. The simple version is that Fury has this Netflix show now which will give him unprecedented profile with casuals. The Ngannou carnival is perfect for that audience but only viable if he's unbeaten. For anyone advising Fury, it was a no-brainer to fight Ngannou first and then hope to carry that audience into an undisputed match.

Fury-Ng is a joke, a blot on the sport, a sorry show fit only for youtubers and instagrammers and MMA wannabes. Dubois is a mandatory, not an opponent picked specifically because he's NEVER BEEN IN A BOXING RING.

Did not know that. I like Usyk, but he can't expect people to do that. Should have know better.

Usyk will be poor after Ukrainian gov take their % from his purse.

How much of Fury's purse for Franny G is the Saud site fee? It's like Naymar's new 130m a year deal. 99% of that is Saud wealth fund and not revenues from a league nobody cares a jot about. I have zero interest in Fury Ngannou myself, save slagging it off here as a shameless clown show.

Honestly if I was Fury I would tell someone to go **** themselves as well if they tried to put those kind of demands on me.

Incidentally, if anyone wants fight tickets to Usyk vs Dubois, theres loads on sale.

£20 a pop too, absolute bargain.

Anyone with a braincell knows 30% for Usyk is very fair and when they go to Saudi that's the EXACT same split, Usyk $40m and Fury $100m. 30% of the pot goes to Usyk.

Problem is FOR BOTH Fury & Usyk is the pot is UP TO $80m for a UK fight...which isn't enough. Saudi pot is $150m. Nearly double.

From a purely business perspective a UK fight, ignoring Saudi, Fury very well could give Usyk a 20% split and that is still totally fair... People throwing their rattles out the pram 6 months ago don't understand basic maths clearly and HILARIOUSLY think a plastic belt from a corrupt body has value in the PPV market.

None of these numbers is true.

Usyk is with Skills Challenge, the purse bid was to determine Dubois purse and events rights, but not Usyk's. I imagine he will make 8 digits payday for this fight.

The Fury number came from Chisora's interview, and is surelly inflated to hype up the event, as has been the pattern from Del Boy ever since he signed with the Saudis.

Usyk is with Skills Challenge now, meaning Fury will have to agree to a flat fee, no percentage.

It feels like he already has, by the way, he wanted 150m, so Ngannou then Usyk, for that total ammount. Otherwise Saudi hosting that circus show in october makes no sense at all

What has Wilder done recently to deserve a fight with Usyk. His only win in the last four years is Robert Helenius which really isn't very impressive. Can't really call that a duck in my opinion. If Wilder wants to fight Usyk maybe he should do something to deserve it.
