We disagree there. Wilders resume is considerably better than Efes imo. Wilder has roughly 3 wins in the range of Efes best wins, has 3 wins out of Efes current league, and doesnt have the subpar losses and close decisions like Efe.
    Theyre not that close, imo.

He dealt with Jennings better than Wlad did and a shot ghost of Ortiz gave Ruiz hell. Ruiz has ran Parker close and mopped AJ.

    Ortiz was good.

And I am not denying that he was good, but he's not what people make him out to be. He's what Corrie Sanders is to Vitali...Tucker is to Tyson...Rex Layne is to Marciano. He's the mythical "could of been" fighter that fans throw in there to big-up their guy. "You don't understand how good Wilder was because you don't understand that Ortiz was the division boogieman..."

Ortiz was a pretty good fighter...lower end of top ten for the era.

Plenty of guys face opponents in non title bouts that are comparable to the guys Wilder was beating. I don't think Washington or Molina or Szpilka are necessarily better than Sergey Kuzmin for example or Jerry Forrest
