I think everyone included the haters are clearly just sexually frustrated that Fury hasn't yet lived up to his ability Don't worry though, once he pins Usyk nobody can question him - sure more excuses will come but so what. Atleast real boxing fans cannot deny him.
Wilder4 and Chisora 4 should make him the goat. Who else has the guts to face guys they have easily beaten, infinitely? Wlad ducked Thompson 3 almost as blatantly as Fury ducked fighting him at all.
People understand Wilder could have been close to winning 2 of the 3 bouts he had with Fury. People underestimate Wilder now Fury has took his mojo.
ATGs don't avoid current contenders to fight people they easily beat twice. Fury's resume is poor. He beat faded old Klitschko and one-trick-pony Deontay "Tye Fields" Wilder, but who else? He disgracefully backed out of two contracted rematches with Klitschko, wasting many months of the old fighter's time. He's avoided Joshua, Parker, Ortiz a few years ago, Ruiz, and is currently afraid of getting KOed by Joyce and Makhmudov, and getting schooled by Usyk. He's NOT an ATG, he's far from it. His behavior outside the ring has been disgraceful. He posted his cocaine abuse on social media. He abused PEDs and blamed it on his eating wild boar testicles. He ballooned up to 350 pounds, during a time of excessive drinking and gluttonous eating. This content is protected
Myself, if Fury retired today, I’d have him in the Top 10. He has squandered much of his prime, and I hate his personality, but I think it’s pretty clear he’s the best of his time, and that says a lot.
Too many fights against Dereck Chisora, who has never been a consensus top top heavyweight.Fury has only beaten three ranked heavyweights Wilder,Whyte and Klitschko, admittedly very convincingly each time.I’m not denying That Fury is the best heavyweight in the world an 6 or 7 pound for pound but his resume is far too shallow for him to be rated as an all time great. This is common knowledge.
