If he is honestly having as much trouble getting sparring as he insists, then is there an argument that being this active is of huge benefit for the rematch with McDermott.

I dont buy that. Theres plenty of quality sparring out there. World class sparring if his team just look for it and are willing to put some miles in. Thats what i mean about unprofessional. The lads gunna learn **** all from tonight, he and his team will just spout more **** about what there going to do and disrespect evey other domestic hw out there. And as you say risk of injury, but you risk that in the gym every day to be fair.

Its got **** all to do with sparring, we all know that. He just doesn't want to or have the ability to get in shape. You never turned up out of shape, far from it, therefore there is no excuse for him.

I know what your sayin but there has been a few decent fighters who never seem to look in shape and they seem to be comfortable that way. Most fighters lookin and feeling the part is all part of the preparation.(I even used to go on the sunbed:oops:) **** if i ate something wrong i'd feel like shite in the gym later, but it was prob phycological. Funny how a few beers at the wkend never used to bother me though:huh
I just think it would be more benificial to Fury getting a few weeks top quality sparring than a pointless fight like this.:good

Finding good quality sparring isn't rocket science.

Germany isn't exactly far away, is it?

Some people can train the house down and always look a bit overweight - in all sports.... but I'm not sure Fury is in that category.

He needs a trainer prepared to crack the whip, rather than his uncle or the dumbass amateur trainer who was in the corner for the McDermott fight.

He may as well give Aaron Snowell a call

Fury is a fraud. Tomas Mrazek? 261lbs? I wouldn't mind if he went about the start of his career quietly but the way he talks himself up and other down beggars belief. I'd love an uspet but will have to wait until he fights McDermott again.

Yeah. It won't make a difference for this fight and he'll probably (damn better for his sake) turn up in better shape again for his next fight.

But after all the 'McMuffin' stuff, this shows Fury up.

    Why?

He's said himself he has to train hard because he puts on weight very, very easily. He claims he can add a stone in a day.
