Lets put this myth to bed about Wlad suddenly getting old overnight. Wlad had just put together the best series of wins of his entire career before Fury schooled the **** out of him, he lost to a far superior boxer who nullified his bread and butter jab/grab, its that simple... Funny how Klit****s before the fight gave Fury 0% chance and scored the Jennings fight 10-2. Afterwards it was all 'oh the writing was on the wall, he has been declining for some time, he looked terrible in the Jennings fight, he's nearly 40 yrs old' etc The list of excuses has been truly shameless. Fury beat the same Wlad that beat Haye, Povetkin, Pulev etc there is absolutely NO difference. Fury beats any version of Wlad and breezes through his entire resume undefeated. Its about time people gave this great man the respect he deserves for the boxing masterclass he gave Waldo.
The Jennings fight raised question about him sliding. He was not shot but he was definitely past his prime. Fury had a good strategy to exploit that. So I give him full credit for his win.
Jennings went the distance and had a better showing than most because Wlad didn't have his usual hometown ref letting him use UFC rules. In Germany on Wlads bouncy castle BJ would have been hugged to death
So you're trying to say wlad at 39 is somehow prime ? You think fighters are in and out of prime by the names they beat ? What you clearly stated, was wlad was prime because he was coming off his best series of wins. Most fighters have their best wins towards the backend of their careers, that's got nothing to do with what part of their careers their physical and mental abilities lie. Just because he whooped povetkin (who's no top hw) and char, jennings with a couple other names doesn't mean he's close to his prime. This post itself clearly proves you've not a clue what prime really means. Keep telling yourself such nonsense. What I've called you out on does not for one second make me believe fury would not had always beat wlad. Wlad lost 3 fights in his prime to fury level opponents, all I'm saying is being prime doesn't usually correlate with a fighters best wins. I highly doubt my hungover ass was able to make much sense of what I tried to explain. Layman's terms, wlad was very far from his prime for many years now
Anyone can tell Wladimir is declining, but that's not what lost him the Fury fight. It was his overly cautious, scared fighting style. He allowed Fury to move around and pot shot him, and never really went after him with any aggression until the last round. You can't jab and grab someone who's constantly moving. The irony is that a pre prime Wlad would have fought much better against Fury than a prime Wlad would. He used to be an offensive machine before he switched his style up, and Fury doesn't have that much power to bomb Wladimir out like Sanders did. Hes perfectly capable of beating Fury, he just can't fight like he's been used to fighting, and I'm shocked he had no plan b in that fight
Unless you believe Jennings is a better fighter than Chris Byrd, Povetkin, Haye, Sam Peter, Ibragimov, no he didn't.
Nobody cares about 'prime' Wlad. He was always overrated just like his brother. Yesterdays news. Fury beats any version of him.
Fury is the only white guy PRINC£/ Cupid stunt supports simply because Asif Vali is his manager hahaha
****stanis like PRINC£ are very strange desperate and racist. Theres loads of ****stani boxing fans support Josh Leather just cause he has a ****stani trainer lol
That's absolutely wrong. Fans and journalists were talking about his decline after the fight. I thought that he was still prime myself because of the Pulev fight. That doesn't change the fact that lots of observers thought that he was past his best.
He probably is. Povetkin got beat up and scored a robbery win vs Marco Huck, a cruiserweight. Peter got outboxed by a fat 50 year old James Toney. Ibra is only known for beating up 2 senior citizens then retiring after a snooze fest with Klitty.
