Fury would get beat in an MMA match easily... Cain would go to work on him! Since Fury is the one talking **** im sure he would step into the Octagon? LOL
Dana White would not give James " lights out " Toney a rematch with Randy Coture with only boxing...but he is more than happy to let a Boxer with little to NO traing in the other techniques fight MMA in UFC.. Dana here is a little message for you..UFC sucks ****..And not ONE UFC fighter would even beat Fury at boxing Oh and I dislike FURY
Exactly. Randy himself said he would have NO CHANCE against Toney in a boxing match. It was Toney who chased Dana for a chance to fight MMA, and he got his ass served by Randy. What some people need to realise, it doesn't matter who you are, if you haven't wrestled before, someone like Velasquez or Randy is gonna have no trouble at all taking you down, How the **** can you defend a takedown against a lifelong wrestler if you haven't wrestled before? it would be almost impossible. It's like picking a random guy off the street and throwing him in a boxing match with one of the Klitschkos, he'd get ****ed up right? because he hasn't boxed before, same principle here but we're talking about wrestling instead. And as I said in my opening post, this isn't a case of me talking down boxing or talking down MMA, I love both sports with a passion. Bottom line is this, you put Tyson Fury and Cain Velasquez in a FIGHT, I'm not talkin about a boxing match, I'm talking about a fight (Which is what Fury is asking for) Velasquez would shoot in for a takedown, Fury would be on his back, then Velasquez would mercilessly beat the **** out of him until the referee stopped it or Tyson gave up. It's common ****ing sense.
for those that dont follow MMA, Velasquez is arguably the baddest man on the planet ala mike tyson. [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OkMvkfCNmlo[/ame] and his fight last week [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vbdufU3Nzt8[/ame] Im both an mma and boxing fan. but even guys as big as price and fury would get mullered if they enter the cage with no training in other disciplines like muay thai or grappling. Also, mma is more suited to stocky fighters who can strike and grapple, there are exceptions but they are guys who are well versed in various martial arts. It will be funny if this fight happens, not for fury though
if we're talking about a FIGHT then fury wouldnt beat anyone with decent muay thai let alone wrestlers. a guy with legs as long as fury's would get crippled by leg kicks it wont even be funny. if fury was doing other martial arts on the side like bjj and MT, i would give him a chance. after all it has been proven in the ufc that any decent martial artist with little competitive experience CAN win the UFC title (brock lesnar)
In a boxing ring it seriously wouldn't last a minute fury would KO him with the first few punches Velasquez has been KOd before and i like mma but in a stand up fight Boxers flatten MMA fighters.
Fury wins NHB easily, these gypos know how to have a REAL fight trust me. MMA gay boy wont know whats hit him ,he d soon go running back to his "cage"
Should make it happen Fury should attack him in the street and pound that MMA ***** into kingdown come.
People were saying great things about Tim Slyvia before he fought a 50 year old Mercer. Fury wins in a ring, Octagon or bare knuckle.
Well to be fair mate, if we're talking about a FIGHT. not an MMA match or a Boxing match, Who would you pick to beat Velasquez at this point? I'm not sure I can think of anybody. Fact of the matter is, If Velasquez takes you down, you are as good as ****ed. If you have no BJJ or Wrestling background, well, your double ****ed. Let's be honest, How could Tyson Fury stop the takedown of a lifelong wrestler? It would be impossible, Cain would smash him to ****ing pieces, same with the Klitschko's or whoever. If you can't stop the takedown, Cain is gonna **** you up badly. And I say this as a lifelong Boxing fan, but it's common sense. Oh and just so people are happy, I acknowledge if this was a boxing match, Fury would destroy Cain. But that's not what he's asking for here, He's challenged Cain to a FIGHT.
