I am becoming a little dismayed at how many people genuinely want to see Joshua, Whyte, Hearn and Matchroom fail and fail HARD! Joshua's career has not just profited Matchroom but has profited practically every boxer who currently laces up a pair of gloves by bringing the casual fans to boxing in droves.

If Joshua loses the rematch, as many of you are hoping and Joshua retires, it certainly won't advance the cause of UK boxing and will just be one less big profile opponent for the top 10 and upcoming Heavyweights to match against. Although Deontay Wilder ****s me off a treat with all the verbal bilge he spills forth, I do appreciate the fact that he adds to the Heavyweight scene in a big way, as does Fury and now Ruiz.

There are still plenty of big fights to be made at Heavyweight but, the attitude of some on here makes me think that they would rather THEIR fighters just keep their '0' rather than take risks and try to challenge themselves.

At least now there'll be far less likelihood of potential challengers pricing themselves out of a match up with Joshua, now that he sucks ass.

I didn't say he was prime, Mr Strawman. But the 40 year old Klit was actually better than the walking glass chin who was decimated by journeyman Sanders.

Old man gave it all he had vs AJ. If he wasn't 41 he would have leveled AJ in 5.

No, at 40 Klischko was more experienced, but lacked speed, reflexes and stamina. At the time he was struggling with simple journeymen like Jennings.

Perhaps it says something about Wlad's dominance at the time that a wide UD win was seen as 'struggling'.

No credibility considering Fury ducked a rematch twice

He was jabbing and holding his way to victory for nearly a decade. His 'prime' looked remarkably similar to 40 year old Wlad. He just couldn't use his advantages against Fury.

He let them go unlike vs Fury but just didn't have the legs to finish Joshua. As you say, signs were there vs fringe man Jennings. Compare the Jennings and Pulev displays, no way is Jennings better than Pulev.

His reflexes were gone that’s a first thing to go with age.

I expect you must have made a fortune on the fight, then? I mean you knew he was shot, right?

Klitshko's timing was off as well. Against AJ he was badly missing the left hooks and could not pull the trigger on the right hand. A 2011 Klitshko would have finished AJ in round 5-6

Vitali was seen as unbeatable when he was the same age of 39. Why was Wlad any different?

Wlads economical old man style ages well. Its what enabled him to beat a certain level for so long but it would never work on the Gypsy King.
Furys style would never allow Wlad to throw. Wlad who can't box and move at the same time would never find the target against Fury. His style is all wrong for Clinchko

He missed because AJ actually had the sense and ability to duck under those left hooks. If he stood there upright like Pulev , Wlad would have got a HR KO
