Although an impresive preformance, Wilder poses 10x more of a threat than Tom Shwarz ever could.
I suppose my reasoning for actually atempting southpaw in the trilogy is based largely on what I see as a chance to further confuse and befudle Wilder. Deontay is likely tuned into fighting the man that stood before him last time around, if Fury switches it up, Wilder will have to reset every time and I'm not sure 18 months is long enough to prepare fully for changes like that mid fight.
However, Im not completely against the idea of it being a stupid plan, and him walking into a big right, especially as mentioned before, in the vegas heat. Like we've said, If Wilder goes hard for the body however Fury stands, he could break him down, or atleast set something up.
I much prefer these conversations than the hate we all spew around here normally, I can be guilty of that too.
I still think Fury is favourite for a reason though. Seeing how Wilder adapts to his own changes will be a factor in the outcome, but Its in no way just Wilders fight to lose.
Super stoked for this one now, it's taken me a while, but I'm there.

Fury already has the blueprint to beat Wilder. He discovered it in round 12 of their first fight and applied it with ruthless effectiveness in their second. Nothing whatsoever to suggest the third fight doesn’t end the same and much quicker. This twenty stone gypsy TANK version of Fury is a beast.

Good point. But Wilders team have now seen the same blueprint. Dont get me wrong, I think Fury will manage to get him out of there earlier due to Wilders lack of acknowledging his own failings which will in turn cause him to revert to type after a round or so, but this is no easy fight by any stretch.
Personally, I reckon Fury throws a round or two in southpaw, keeps Wilder guessing and attempts to confuse any game plan Scott & Co have. I don't think Wilder has had the "dig deep and adapt" kind of fighting experience which would be needed to overcome a Fury like that.
Its easier to plan for a come forward Fury, than a Fury who could do just about anything.

From debut up till his comeback Fury didn't train or eat properly & fought defensivly.

This prime Fury embracing his natural size, training daily, eating properly & not giving opponents room to breathe is a monster.

Wilder will gas after 4 rounds again.
