Yeah, hooking up a friend with a big bout has always been around. Joe Louis got his friend John Henry Lewis a shot. But it is much more acceptable when the champ is fighting a lot. It is really irritating that these guys hardly fight each other, and then when they finally do, we have to watch an undeserving dude in there.

People don't understand about Destiny and God and religion anymore. Fury and Chisora are the only reasons Fury and Chisora were born and it is the only reason they box. I hope the entire world boycotts this fight. Every time I think boxing has found its last possible way to give itself a black eye, it finds another. Now we have a guy claiming to be the greatest heavyweight ever defending his belt against a gatekeeper he has already throughly beaten twice.

Yes and what I said is true, you would never see this ridiculousness in MMA/Kickboxing because they actually will all fight each other.

 

Talent pool is incredibly small in the aforementioned sport with only one promoter.

99% actually do want to fight each other. TV/promotion companies is where the issue lies. If you can't see this then I don't know what to tell you.
