    It's too easy when you have detractors/haters as desperate and miserable as his. They literally never fail to whine, snark, stamp their feet and **** their pants like little girls at even the tiniest morsel of bait.

    Imagine if the roles were reversed and Fury was fighting Usyk very soon. Yet AJ gives his friend and easiest opponent Charles Martin a titleshot to earn him some money, the chance to walk this earth like a god once more and secure himself an easy win.

    Fury's groupies would lose their mind. And rightly so.
    Yet they justify this money grab and one of the worst cowardly ducks that makes Bowe look like Ali.

    If Fury reneged on his promise to give fellow real fighting man Chisora who has fought everyone and their dog and has earned the right to challenge the GOAT again the hard way his trilogy ya'll would be calling Fury racist for lying to a brother man :facepalm:

    I guess I'd be counted as a groupie in your estimation, so I should clarify that I wouldn't give a damn if Anthony Joshua attempted to bounce back from a defeat (or a pair of defeats) to Usyk by rematching Charles Martin while Fury faced Usyk for all the straps. I might think there were better rebuild fights out there for Joshua than a guy he already flattened in a couple rounds, but I wouldn't chastise him for the selection.

    If we're talking some alternate reality where Joshua had never met and been defeated by Usyk and was still holding three straps, and Fury had been the one defending his titles or striving to regain them against Usyk, then, yes, I would have been critical of Joshua if he had arbitrarily chosen to rematch Charles Martin in that period.

    Likewise, if Fury actually boxes Chisora next, I would register my disappointment.

    I don't feel a need to justify anything, because I know he's playing games and exploiting the credulity of his critics (who are so desperate for ammunition to get at Fury, they will bite on anything he hangs out there).
