    Lol AJ on the pads looks like he can keep throwing those combinations round after round without gassing. Everyone knows he has a massive gas tank problem where if he unleashes a barrage of punches, he has to take 2-3 rounds off which is suicide in an elite fight. Fury has no such problem. Smart choice is on Fury, he has to adopt the same Wilder rematch plan to deplete AJ very early in the fight

    Credit to both of them. Look at Spence and Crawford not fighting then appreciate they are risking defeat in their primes for the fans.

    I still think Fury should have had an interim fight... He's gonna be 18 months out of the ring by the time he fights AJ
    .. I like both fighters but can't help think the A side is doing the bending over again and the only reason why they're taking the fight (sigh) .. A year is a long time out of the ring and enough to give most ring rust, but 18 months.. Can't we just get a fight on an even playing field for once

    There's nothing on Eddie's, AJ's or Sky Sports twitter accounts about an official announcement.

    Either Fury has leaked the news too early or it's just the latest chapter in the endless negotiating ploys and mind games from both sides.

    Fury is the king of not fighting regularly and still coming back strong. Anyone other boxer, and it would be very bad they took so much time off, but Fury? That's standard for him.

    Still, I agree an interim fight would have been better. Although it probably would have been some garbage euro bum knowing Fury's track record. It's either top <5, or bums with him.
