You're referring to the Cunningham fight I take it. I don't want to sound like a blind Fury fan-boy but if you think Fury was in any way losing that fight until he stopped SS Cunningham, you simply DKSAB I'm afraid.....
I concur Bulla. I will say though that with Wlad training so well over so many years, even if Fury was in the shape of his life, Wlad would be the stronger man in there. It wouldn't mater so much though since this is boxing not strongman competition!
i'd say that he does have a change of outboxing and a win. He does have power, maybe not that snap power but he has alot of weight behind the hits and they do damage. He's a big man and if he can use that, i think he does have a good change. My money is on Wlad but i've would not be surprised if Tyson take's it.
Fury wasn't great against Cunningham who is an underrated guy ( albeit at Cruiserweight primarily ) But Fury went into that fight, without his Trainer uncle Peter, under home he looked much improved since working with and also, probably thought he would walk through and overwhelm the smaller guy, which eventually he did Im not saying he is a great fighter, but he is good for boxing more and more on this fight I realise that most posters seem to want a fighter who is aggressive , stops opponents but never gets hit Defensive fighter pots shots his way to victory = boring offensive fighter stops opponent but gets hit = hype job with leaky defense what do people actually want ?
God damn the Brit****s are out in full force today after this card. I love watching Fury fight, but let's calm down!!!! :rofl atsch
They make good British boxing fans look bad, but it seems like at least 3/4th of the Brits on this forum are Brittarded
Ridiculous. Fury will take the fight because his biggest motivation is money, but he won't see the second half of the fight.
Let's calm down a bit on fu¢king Wlad too then! How about we compare both Fury and Wlad's last 5 opponents? Do those performances of Wlad make him some sort of world beater? Do they fu¢k. Fury would have the same results against those carpet cleaners and done it in much better fashion IMO. Wlad's allowed to pick garbage defences and has been lucky with much smaller men steered into mandatory slots (also the division has been weak to a degree). Fury would be the best fighter he's ever faced and vice-versa IMO and Wlad gets beat. By no means a given for either man but I'll go with the talent as I see it. I like Wlad and am no Brit**** for sure.:good
Of course not, Vitali would crush him. A 40 year old Vits was the best HW on the scene. A prime Vits would crush anyone here, no doubt. He'd knock Wlad out in 4-6 and anyone else too even earlier. The Vittles who fought Kirk Johnson would have had many HW's running for the hills. :nod
Fury wouldn't beat Povetkin, and would have a rough night with Pulev... Not sure he wins that one. Definitely beats Leapai, and Pianeta and a fight with Wach would be interesting.... Latter 3 are very winnable fights for Fury, but he'll have to be careful with Wach.
Billy Fury would have more chance, and he died in 1983. For those who don't know of him Billy Fury was Liverpool's blonde haired version of Elvis Presley in the 50's and 60's.
