I fancy Cunningham for the upset. Think Fury is grosley overrated, and he mentally he is not all there.

Fury will have been training for the fight with the mentality that he will win based on his size. The pressure of MSG/NBC will get to him and he will be to gung ho. I see Cunningham actually stopping him.

Fury should get the stoppage. Fury's size plus Cunningham's lack of power and shaky chin will make it difficult for USS to go the distance.

  3. Cunninghams chin is the main factor for me,juan pablo a big cruiser had him dancing all over the shop

I didn't rate Fury to begin with but I think he's develeped well - most importantly physically in getting shot of most of that flab. And in fairness he's toughed out some fights when he was horribly unfit. He's finally become a professional boxer now though and gotta credit his Uncle; unlike Cleverly's old man he is a voice of reason behind the scenes and in the corner. He will not have let Fury get carried away with the size advantage. It's been noticeable Fury has mentioned he'll win because of size consistently since the fight was announced - pretty obvious that was just meant for the ears of Cunningham's camp.

As I say Fury has shown his mettle back when he was a sloth, but now with the added fitness then Cunningham won't be troubling him too much. Adds up to a very good piece of matchmaking by Hennessy. Am not exactly Hennessy's biggest fan but he's got a fight that Fury won't lose against a name that has got people interested.

Just a shame we get all this boxing on the same night

I think people are reading too much into Cunningham's fight with Adamek tbh. I think Adamek is well past his best and would get stopped by Fury as well.

Before the fight is Rocky IV. Brilliant scheduling.

I was looking for a build up and prediction thread on this fight as well. Can you still add a poll to this thread i.e. prediction of outcome of fight....?

A few fights ago I might have tipped Cunningham to get to Fury, but Fury has got more disciplined and is using his brain and skills when he is in there. He should be able to box Cunningham with his size advantage and I see him stopping Cunningham late.
