Fury demands 80% of the purse and gives Haye a four day deadline

Wladimir is not ducking Povetkin, it's been the other way around.

Povetkin is a good fighter, but his style is tailor-made for Wlad.

He'll make for an easier fight than Ibragimov, Haye, 2008 Thompson and several others Wladimir has beaten in the past.

 

Yeah you don't hear them talking about that. I guess they just hope we will forget about Wlads pathetic duck of Povetkin after 4 easy fights. Wlad justs wants to feast on bums the rest of his career and pad his record. Thats fine if Wlad wants to do that but those belts needs to be stripped if he does not fight povetkin.

 

No Wlad is ducking Povetkin because K2 is not in control. Wlad is to scared to fight Povetkin unless he is in control of everything. His fear is that Povetkin will select a ref that wont let him hold. If Wlad is not allowed to hold Povetkin will kick his ass on the inside and Wlads chin and skin will fail him once again.

 

Wlad struggles with pressure fighters. The guys who are tailor made for Wlad are tall stiff guys who like to stay on the outside. Povektin will apply pressure and is not afraid of Wlad....Wlad will walk from this fight. Will you stop supporting him when he does?

 

Povetkin is a bum. He's beaten old men inferior comp. He has no chance against Wlad. He has not improved since the Chambers fight. Same old Povetkin.

 

Hell know he wont stop supporting Wlad. They will just make excuses for him. Better get the excuses ready Wlad is dropping his WBA title Tuesday so he can duck Povetkin. Wlad fans I promise you will not hear the end of this. He has had four goddamn easy fights in a row. He needs to get his ass in the ring with Povetkin and fight.

 

Maybe but Tuesday he will be the new WBA champion because Wlad is a coward.

Fury just released a youtube video explaining the Haye situation. Said Haye wont agree to a 50 50 split so Fury says winner takes all. Looks like Haye the ducker here which i assumed all along

 

The hvw division is in shambles when a fraud like Fury can demand anything at all. There is no winner take all in true sports. Injury, family, children etc etc factor in that kind of request. Sounds tough, but that ain't reality.

 

If thats true maybe thats why Fury is doing all this. Fact is someone is lying. Now the Wlad fans will claim Haye is telling the truth. If thats the case I guess everything he said about the Klitschko's and there slave contracts are true. Wlad fans with do anything to defend there hero.

 

Hard to know whats going on , but one thing is for sure Fury is making all the noise and Haye has been silent. He claimed Haye's original offer was 60/40 Haye.

 

Sounds like Fury is back tracking from the backlash over the 80/20 split fiasco. Even if it was a joke meant to wind people up it's back fired and made him look like he's ducking Haye.

If it was Haye who initially declined a 50/50 split why would he go out and say it was Fury, why bring it up at all and bring attention upon a potentially damaging situation? Fury could have easily refuted it instead of coming up with this 80/20 crap.

Also a 50/50 split for Fury is more than he deserves, Haye is clearly the bigger draw. Haye in his last fight was fighting in the 35K capacity Upton Park Stadium, the fights prior to that the 23K capacity MEN Arena while Fury has been fighting at the 11K Odyssey arena when he headlined against Johnson. Based upon the gates alone to their fights Fury will only be bringing in a 3rd of the fans Haye can draw. Fury would be lucky to get 40%.

The winner take all crap is never a viable option and simply crap spoken by fighters looking to make their prospective opponent look bad as promoters and managers are paid a percentage of the purse, no way would they even contemplate negotiating any deal where they could be paid nothing.
