Hit and dont get hit is the name of the game. Fury has the ability to punch same time and not get hit. Wouldnt expect some guys to even understand. Joshua on the other has the fundamentals nailed down from doing floorwork over and over. Put him in a ring and hes robotic, chin in the air, very little upper body movement. His lateral movement against Ruiz was forced not effortless. Works real hard but aint got the skill of some of the other heavyweights

 

Who would want to watch it though. Both guys will be running away from each other, throwing 1 or 2 punches around. Like a imaginary game of dodge ball in a boxing ring! Deontay takes out those 2 clowns!

 

Are you using that fight to try and prove Fury has incredible fundamentals?

he won that fight because he is awkward/long and has good head movement. Wlad has excellent fundamentals so the only thing that fight proves is that you don’t need perfect technique to beat someone with good fundamentals.

Do you understand that fundamentals comes down to doing things by the book? which Fury does not do...

 

Irrelevant after Wilder knocks Fury out in spectacular fashion.

Fury will quit boxing, go and fight in the UFC for a ton of money.

 

No fundamentals means to do the basics. Salas is always banging on about them when coaching his guys. Linares for instance. Fury does all this just in his own way. Scores with his jab. Makes people miss. Lands straight back hands. Good lateral movement, Parries punches, blocks etc. Punch going forward, punch going back. These are the fundamentals of boxing.

 

Joshua improved his footwork for Ruiz 2 no arguments there but only reason Ruiz couldnt cut down the ring is because he was too heavy and couldn't get from A to B quick enough. Good tactics

 

Sounds like AJ wants a pre-season fight to see how much better of a boxer Fury is than he...hahaahaaa!
